my speed horses.

Equity Law (post 328) runs again, 5.50 Thirsk. Dropped into the lowest class handicap he has contested to date. His only win in a handicap was last year as a 3yo when he won a class 232, average OR 89.7, off 83. Today's race is a class 42, AOR 72.1, and he runs off 75, but he hasn't steadily dropped 8lb since the win for good performances and as yet there is little evidence that the change of trainer has helped.

Nevertheless Equity Law is the VDW class/form horse in the 5.50, though as with Durham Castle yesterday there is a problem re key horse support, so certainly not a rock solid class/form horse. Depending on prices later, he may be one for a "cover" bet.
 
Anyway back to horses here is some i have , Some i like more than others but they are of some sort of interest to me.

2 30 ASCOT DANCING GEMINI. Originally i has sardinian warrior but as none runner switched to this one , But i must admit this is really difficult race , Why not DOCKLAND then as was second to sardinian warrior well for one the odds seem to suggest i am right about its next performance i was disappointed got beat that day although i did think jockey gave it shocker to so excuses allowed.
But is tricky race and would need have cover bet on any in this race and i think DANCING GEMINI right price for that.

3 40 ASCOT AMERICAN AFFAIR. This is an other horse who got badly blocked behind horses in last race and is form that has worked out brilliant for me, But i felt although bet it was outclassed too that day and is similar today, But one thing you can say loves these type of races and will be weaving through them later on and i just thought at cover bets of 10 places had to have nibble.

5 35 ASCOT SONS AND LOVERS. I don't think this race is as good as might first look and there is only one horse i could bet in it as was only beat 3l by los angeles who i have not hidden is possibly the best horse in training this year well i have let that out bag now, and trainer agreed later on with me when he said the rest will just have to go where he doesn't.

3 23 THIRSK LARCHILL LASS. This is a horse i bet last time for place at bigger odds and got 4th for me and i think the odds alone tell you should go close here and i feel the easier track just might lead all the way, Its not a great race so think will go well at least.

4 00 THIRSK CASH IN. This is a easterby horse with no form to note of but i feel might squeeze into place today at decent odds one to watch today. Or maybe get lucky with today.
4 40 THIRSK DARING LEGEND. This is one horse i cant understand why is not fav as has the form in the book breed for this distance and seems to suit which might not others. And i feel must go close at least so is a steal at cover bet i feel .

I agree with you re Cash In in the 4.00 Thirsk, gerry gerry. Leaving aside the 5f at Pontefract, a course many find a challenge, he has progressed moderately this year over three runs, both on my performance ratings and overall on TheBluesBrother TheBluesBrother's sfs. He would do well to win, but none of the higher ability-rating form horses is close to rock solid, including the VDW class/form horse, Muscika. Obviously much more likely to win today than he was lto, and with the 5lb claimer on possibly negating the 3lb rise in ORs since the win on 19/05/25, Muscika could win again, which would be quite something for an 11yo.

Not sure I see a bet in the race, but at the moment Muscika and Cash In are the two who interest me most.

Just a pitty either sons and lovers or daring legend didn't win as had nice trixie in them cover bets so done ok with out winning much on day.
 
I need to not mention ones that run down the park and i think might improve as i think horses with speed and in some kind of form are my biggest bets and ones i should really concentrate on here.

I don't actually drink myself now just gave it up about year and half ago.
Never really drank much anyway but still a lot better not at all.
