I haven't seen any sign of it apart from paul and possibly, footysystems?
But I know you are the one to go to if one has 'coding' problems......do you?......are you Dallas?

I have to admit, I haven't looked at starting any sort of BetAngel thread on here, because firstly it's basically just a bet placing tool, rather than any system or plan (or at best, something to complement or form part of a plan). Although I can say it has often helped me with changing my own betting plans from loss-making to break-even to profitable, mainly with the in-play automation, and the specific filters/rules I build in to these automations. Taking Retriever's lay picks for example - I place every one of his picks in the BA loading (except the Irish races of course - unfortunately BA's automation can't make that distinction yet)... the automation I have set up for them (ironically called 'Retriever Lays' !) then ensure that the bets only go on when and if certain conditions are met - most notably if the odds are under 4.0. I shall probably revisit the conditions now that retriever retriever's lays have just made over 100 results to analyse to make sure the rules are still maximising the plan's profitability.
The other reason is that I'm not an expert on it - the BetAngel's own forum and content is light-years better than anything I could contribute here. I strongly suspect that if a thread was created as a discussion point, a lot of help and guidance will be asked for, and ultimately they will end up being directed to the BA forum site (unless of course, ArkRoyal ArkRoyal really is Dallas in disguise ?)

My question above re BA threads on here was directed at ArkRoyal (as I expect you realised).
As you have pointed out, it's a tool and any help that I would kindly request from you would involve the technical details of such.
Of course, BA have they own forum and help, but in discussing what you want to do on there may kind of give away an edge you may have worked on. A bit like the stats on the IS, on here, not being open to the OS.
Anyway, I'm not going to clog this thread up here on the matter - I'll say no more.

I completely agree - with the BA forum, you'll never get a full explanation or complete/profitable downloads free, as there are so many people over there to take advantage of it and therefore probably nullifying any effectiveness or killing any edges. Here on the other hand is a much smaller and select group - I guess any shared info (particularly in the IS if I ever get there ?) will have virtually nil impact on markets and personal profitability.
If I can help with it, I'll try as best I can.
 
I don't think ark royal is Dallas lol, the BA forum is full of sharks imo although Dallas seems a nice chap.

Funny I used to love bots in the early days feet up watch the £££ come rolling in urrrm never really did if I am honest. Anyone ever remember bethawk bot ?? Wow you could prove your strats before you played systems that punters made for the data. All looked great until they fell off a cliff. Horses of course my days off ggs are long gone. Football is the only way these days but the minge bag bookies are getting tighter and tighter along with the exchanges even if you won you have to forfit the PC.

Just a joke re Ark........and yes Dallas appears nice and very generous with his time.....how he gets his head around some of the questions put to him amazes me.
you have to forfit the PC?.....what does that mean footy?
 
Oh right......I looked at those, but the thresholds appear to be set quite high for profit and turnover - far higher than an average dog like me would ever expect to reach for a number of years.

I'm a bit dubious about the Swedish qualifier... I did a H/A goals check which suggests it will have no more than an average 2 goals. Also, the over 2.5 market on BF is currently 2.32, so the public seem to think the same. Still (and because it's on topic on the forum at the mo !), it's predicted to be a nice sunny day (19 degrees) and Gothenburg are chasing a European spot in the table, and are playing at home... there may be value in the bet ?

Definitely... just goes to show that you just can't go by stats alone to get the full picture. I actually fancied Gothenburg to do well, and put a small bet on the over 2.5 market anyway ! :D
