I am moving house on Monday and VM take down my internet Sunday. I think I can jump on the phone at 930 and screenshot the selection for a few days (prob be Wed/Thur before I can). Just in case wife kills me for doing so - can anyone take over grabbing selections Sunday/Monday/Tuesday and Wed for me :) .. just paste a screenshot in here and i can go back through the results

One thing I am noticing with these is just about all place! I might go back and look at place prices. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but profit is profit :)
have you done a test to see how it would do as e/w or place bets ? Perhaps back if under 6.0 odds, and e/w if over ?

paulb164 paulb164 Most of these are favourites in the market and are mostly short prices. In case you were not aware ( as you are not a horsey man ) the numbers to the right of these selections are the % move in the market at a given time ( see my post #27 on here ).
LOL - I thought they were good odds !!!! Should have worked that out for myself since it didn't marry up with the P/L points when they were posted !

hello all -new boy on here, but a regular contributor on the BA forum. nice simple idea and being a programmer, I of course also setup a scrape on this. I actually thought I'd do it a little differently. I've opted to cache the results every 15 minutes starting at 09:00->12:00. The rationale being that I'd like to monitor how consistantly a runner remains in the top slots. from this, I'll create a mini graph of the data points and see if there's any correlations bubbling under the surface.

This is the structure I'm starting with:

Ok, quick update. this is how the 1st test looked. room for improvement, but gives some feel for the activity. Screenshot showing Mustaqqir as an example. My bad, not sure how to embed images on this platform yet (the image link didn't allow lightshot links) -will look up the help text ;)

also, - just to show the variety that can occur Possible Man, Elegant Queen and Trwyn Du as a final wee screenie.

will review this to see if the idea is crappola or rock 'n rolla!!

will be *interesting* to see how Kinderfrau works out. It had had great steamer credentials early on but then drifted quite a bit.

then we have Tipperary Jack... hmmm

still trying to find an angle on this ;)
