oops -i didn't realise that as it was another individual that kicked this off and then there was commentary from a few others on the approach... what a n00b- lol. will start my own one, tho tbh -this is a little experiment, so will maybe take it offline until i've refined my approach ;)

Hi jimibt jimibt and welcome :) - no problem at all chipping in - I just took the OP selection policy and carried on with it as it was simple and had some + around it. This concept was at 930 when he belives the connections ect put down their money hence why at 930. After that your also looking at wisdom of market ect.

Create a new thread and tag me in and happy to play along :D

no problems runnerjp runnerjp -will do. my angle is actually quite different tbh -i'm looking at the dark side and am hoping to identify overbacked runners (to lay low). the graphing aspect will hopefully allow me to find ones with a steady momentum and ignore those where there's a sharp increase at said 09:30-10:30 mark ;)

the best of both hopefully!!

runnerjp runnerjp - as alluded to in one of my prior posts, this is EXACTLY how is see this approach being useful. monitor it from 09:00->13:00 and see which candidates have stayed in the top slots and how their %age vs price has varied. use this to look at low odds lay based candidates. I only have 4 days of data (i've saved all the json from each day), so will look in 4-5 weeks time to see if there's anything to be had in this approach.
