I lived in Battersea until I was 13, then moved to leafy Kent so all we saw were NF style Oi & everyone knew Screwdriver, on a side note Madness had a very big NF following in their early days, whereas I was at a Specials concert which they stopped because of NF supporters in the crowd
btw sorry about Giorgio M

Larry Larry Thats cos they didnt know what they were on about mate , i was lucky my sis was an original skinhead , i knew where it all started and came from .. rude boys / mods .. Im not saying there werent skins into Oi who supported that shite btw .. Sham , Cockney Rejects , Upstarts , The Oppressed etc wouldnt tolerate any of the right wing stuff. Lead singer of The Oppressed , Roddy , brought SHARP to the UK from the US (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice)

as for GM , as yer like Ska i'll let you off :D

2.10 Sandown - Lil Guff 4/1

A few look to hold chances in this one but i quite like the chances of Lil Guff who was only beaten a neck at Bath last time out , yet to be unplaced here at Sandown with a win and two places from her three outings over CD. Hasnt won for a while admittedly but as a result is coming down the weights and i think a good run could well be on the cards from a decent draw. Daniel & Claire Kubler are in tremendous form at the moment with a 30.8% strike rate in the past month , and when sending runners here over the last five years they come away with a strike rate of 18.5% along with a profit of +£20.33. The inform Oisin Murphy takes the ride and hes ridden the horse twice to date resulting in a third and a second (both here at Sandown) , has a 30% strike rate over the last couple of weeks and does well here with a 13% strike rate overall. Cant see the selection being far away.

7.55 Chepstow - Kenstone 6/1

LIke the look of Kenstone in this classified stakes , arrives on the back of a decent third in a handcap over CD when beaten 1 1/2 lengths by Bhubezi , i think a repeat of that performance would see him in the mix here. Hasnt won since June last year when winning a CD handicap but to be fair has run with credit several times in the interim , won from higher mark than todays and generally does well here at Chepstow with two wins and three places from his seven outings over CD. He might be 11 years old now but i think he can show these younger ones a thing or two here this evening. Adrian Wintle been amongst the winners with a 20% strike rate over the last three weeks , and has a 12% strike rate at the course overall whilst jockey Gina Mangan takes a handy 3lb off , and comes into this with a 15% strike rate in the last three weeks , and has the same strike rate at the course overall. Hasnt won on the horse but has placed both times shes ridden him.

7.15 York - Good Earth 9/1 / Muscika 22/1
Gonna go with a couple in this who i think could go well at decent prices , first one of those is Good Earth who hasnt really shown anything this term but as a result his mark continues to drop and i think its only a matter of time before he throws in a good race and gets his head in front , or that the theory anyway ! Decent on his day hes yet to be unplaced over tonights CD with a win and two places from his three runs to date. Going and class shouldnt be a problem. Michael Herrington sends just this one out today and hes enjoying a 22.2% strike rate over the last month and has a 14% strike rate here at York overall , jockey Tom Eaves has a couple of wins and eight places from his fifteen rides so far and has a 16% strike rate in the past fortnight. If on song then i think he can go close here. The other one i like at a price is Muscika , who hasnt shown anything since returning from an 84 day break but in those three runs he wasnt fitted with his usual visor and that headgear is back today so im hoping that that works the oracle and a better showing is on the cards. Was running better before the break and does quite well here with a win and four places from fourteen runs over CD and two wins / five places from twenty runs at the course overall. Has won off higher than todays mark in the past , and doesnt look badly berthed , going and class not an issue .. with the return of the headgear im hopeful of a decent run tonight. Ben Robinson yet to win on the horse but has placed once in three rides , David O'Meara can never be discounted and hes been going well with a 22% strike rate in the last two weeks.

2.45 Chester - Grey Fable 9/4

Fancy the chances of Grey Fable to follow up in this one , since going to Karl Thorntons yard hes had two races , both of them over this afternoons CD , was second on his first run for the yard and then followed that up with a 2 length win last time , beating the re opposing Hot Team and Green Team , and despite the 4lb rise i think he can confirm those placings. Obviously the 4lb hike makes things slightly more difficult but he seems to have found a new lease of life since going to the Thornton yard and the fact that decent claimer SD Bowen takes off 3lb doesnt make it as bad. Jockey rode him last time out making him one from one on the horse , and hes being doing okay lately with a 13% strike rate over the last couple of weeks and he has a 25% strike rate when coming here to ply his trade. Karl Thornton sends just this one over from Ireland and i cant see him doing that unless he thought the horse stood a good chance of going in again , has a 50% strike rate over the last two weeks and has a 50% strike rate when sending his runners here over the last five years along with a profit of +£10.50. Everything points to a decent run for me and should be in the mix.

3.20 Chester - Evocative Spark 3/1
Evocative Spark has been running well without winning lately but i think theres a chance he could rectify that here today. Hasnt been out of the first three home in his last five races - 3,2,3,2,2 , three of them being here at Chester and two being over todays distance (one over CD - last time out) , placed on sole start over CD and usually runs well round here with two wins and three places from his eight runs to date. Franny Norton has been on him for those last five starts and hes onboard again this afternoon making it a win and five places from seven rides. Has an 18% strike rate in the past couple of weeks and rides Chester well with an overall strike rate of 13%. Should be in the thick of things come the business end.

5.20 Chester - Accrual 6/1 / Dickieburd 5/1
Gonna side with a couple here , firstly Dickieburd who usually runs well here , ran his last four races here and has come second in two of them and im hoping that he can go one better today. Has won and placed twice from five runs over CD , and has a great draw here today to work with so im hoping for a big run. Craig Lidster sends just this one to the meeting and Kevin Stott takes the reigns for the first time. Accrual is the other one i like the look of , looks a progressive sort and has been in good form , only had four runs to date , last of seven on debut and then racked up a couple of wins before coming a half length second last time out at Yarmouth. Trainer Daniel and Claire Kubler has just this one here this afternoon and been in great form lately with a 31.7% strike rate over the past month , and it catches my eye that he has a 38.5% strike rate when sending his runners here over the last five years along with a profit of +£35.95 , so definatley worth taking notice of anything he sends here. Hector Crouch in the saddle for the first time and i think the horse can go close.

4.10 Goodwood - Tatterstall 14/1 / Fair Wind 7/2

Had four shortlisted for this one and had a hard job whittling them down (other two were Lord Riddiford and JM Jungle) but finally ended up with the pair named , firstly Fair Wind who beat Albasheer by half a length last time at Ascot , that one went in in his next race. Been in decent form this year with two wins and a second from his four runs and despite a 4lb rise for that lto win i think he'll be making his presence felt. One from one over todays CD , ground and class no problem and looks well berthed. Owen Burrows sends just this one to the meeting , and has a 25% strike rate over the last three weeks and when sending his runners here he comes away with a 21% strike rate overall. Pat Dobbs in the saddle and he too is here for just this one ride , is two from two aboard the horse , and when teaming up with the trainer in the past 21 days they have a 50% strike rate. The other one i like is Tatterstall , whose been in fair form since his initial outing of the year (9th) with figures of - 3,1,4 since and im hopeful of a big run today. Has never run here at Goodwood but the fact that trainer Michael Dods sends him on the long journey from County Durham making him the longest traveller of the day here makes me think that they're expecting a decent showing. Trainer knows whats what and has been in decent form with a 17% strike rate in the last fortnight , bagged a big Handicap win last Saturday with Northern Express , and im hoping that he can do the same here this afternoon , has a 23% strike rate here at Goodwood. Connor Beasley comes here for just this one , and he knows the horse well winning twice and placing four times from his ten rides aboard the horse to date. Hopeful of a big run at decent odds.

3.00 Goodwood - Kinross 7/2 / Noble Dynasty 3/1
Two for me in this one , first up is Kinross who won this race in 2021 and 2023 and was a neck second in 2022 so i think it'd be folly to leave him out of the equation tbh , and has never been unplaced over CD so im hopeful that a return here brings out the best in him. Only managed 8th last time out but that was over 6f so i think that can be forgiven and i think the return to 7f today should see him in a better light and when you look at his record over 7f i think his record bears that out - 1,8,9,1,1,4,3,2,1,1,1,1,1,2. Ralph Beckett been in decent form with an 18% strike rate in the last two weeks , and he has a 20% strike rate when coming here this season along with a profit of +£5.50. Rossa Ryan in the plate and hes one from two aboard the horse and is having a decent season thus far , 22% strike rate over the last two weeks , and a 13% strike rate here at Goodwood overall. Shouldnt be far away come the business end of things. The other one i like is Noble Dynasty who hasnt had much racing for a 6 year old tbh , and arrives in rude health , winning his last two , the first of those wins was at Newmarket in a group 2 where he put the re opposing English Oak to the sword by two comfortable lengths and im hoping that he can do so again , last time he beat Nostrum in a group 1 by 3/4 length. Seems to be an improving sort and is in the right hands with Charlie Appleby , who has been in tremendous form lately with a 40% strike rate over the last couple of weeks and when sending his horses to Goodwood he has a 22% strike rate overall , William Buick gets the steering job and hes ridden the horse ten times resulting in five wins and a place , a 23% strike rate in the last three weeks and when he and the trainer have paired up over the same period they come away with a healthy strike rate of 35%. Should be on the premises.
