Looked at the 2.40 Carlisle today and have it between cloudy too, hazy tom, tap night and violin davis but ht isn't suited by the going but the other 3 are all form horses. I don't like the comments for tn and vd which leaves ct. Of the 4 allowing an extra point because I don't like them only ct and vd are value odds so I'd make a book of the pair

I actually use Mark Cramers betting line in the back of his book Thourough Bred Cycles.

I do not use it all the time but it is quick and I feel is pretty accurate if ypu can reduce the field to 2-3 contenders, it takes the descision making out of it.

This will be a quick hand version but all you need:
You are making a betting line when you have got the race down to 4 contenders max, you need to rank your contenders.
The line changes depending on the amount of contenders you have (1-4)

One Contender

1 contender Your line odds 1-2. Odds needed for bet. 1-1

Two Contenders

1. Your line odds 3-2. Odds needed for bet. 2-1
2. Your line odds 9-5. Odds needed for bet. 5-2

Three Contenders

1. Your line odds 2-1. Odds needed for bet. 3-1
2. Your line odds 3-1. Odds needed for bet. 9-2
3. Your line odds 4-1. Odds needed for bet. 6-1

Four Contenders

1. Your line odds 5-2. Odds needed for bet. 7-2
2. Your line odds 7-2. Odds needed for bet. 5-1
3. Your line odds 5-1. Odds needed for bet. 8-1
4. Your line odds 6-1. Odds needed for bet. 9-1

Thanks for the odds lines ft, very useful.

Today I looked at the 2.30 Sandown and have it between ackertac, grandads horse, domtaline and mart lane. All are suited by the going and form horses except d so that leaves a, gh and ml. All are value so a book of the 3 is the way I'd go.

Looked at the 2.30 ffos las and have it between victors serenade, pension plan, firebird flyer and still believing but vs isn't suited by heavy and all the rest are and are form horses. Only pp and sb are value and so a book of the pair would be my choice. With about a 40% chance of cashing in

Looked at 2 races today

2.00 lingfield, I have this between Howard's legacy, seven woods, Toby lerone and red anchor and make ra and hl value. Most would be bet on ra as it's the onlone of the 4 with form on heavy.

2.10 Huntingdon, I have this between vulcanite, Broadway buffalo, zuider zee and hidden identity and make hi and v value

Respectively I think I have a. 46 % & 35% chance of cashing in each bet

Also looked at the 6.50 wolves and would make a book of elspeths boy, dark ruler, destiny blue and the cayterers

An 8 2nd and 10 1st is a good day so far today
