Boredom bets.

HP really only beat the 66/1 @ 150/1 shots, with the 9/4 fav obviously having an issue.
Raced far side, midfield, pushed along over 2f out, ridden and no impression from over 1f out, never dangerous (op 16/1

The horse was beaten over 7 lths, but I'm still prepared to suport again over the winter. The problem regarding viewing last nights run was he was out of the picture for the final half of the race. He broke ok initially but got run off his feet early on.

Step up on any surface would be off interest as he will now get into 0-55.

The horse is related to Second Collection, also trained by Carroll and it took him 10 runs before picking up his 1st win, but now a 80 OR.

Both relatives hit the 80's and whilst HP won't hit those marks, I'd expect improvement over next couple of runs.

7.10 Shackabooah @ 20.0

I don't like Nick Vedder unless he gets close up early.

Shackabooah is a small punt on him getting an early lead. Hopefull trade sub 5.0 in running for a small bet.

Archimedes is the concern for pace but I cant see him lasting even on this faster surface

NV is usually held up so this quick surface might not help at all, good luck doomster doomster

This probably doesn’t deserve anyone’s attention, the horse ran like a millipede wearing concrete boots last time.
But just wanna mention it might be worth a throwaway couple of quid on Notnownotever 4.20 Chepstow at no hoper odds , I have ratings of 93 bumper 12/09/20 and 87 hurdle 10/11/20.
The handicapper as recently as November assigned the horse a rating of 89 for his first handicap.
Now off 81
I have had £2 on at 66/1 so I’m not getting carried away or anything, just thought I would mention it as it has relatively recent runs that give it a chance

3.45 weth....This looks tight between the top two but i just prefer the form of BARRICHELLO plus gets 6lbs from the other one and should be fav in my view.

1.10 south....A gosden horse in here catches the eye but the form isn't special and i have doubts about the sire for southwell so happy to take him on with GABRIAL THE DEVIL who won over c/d lto on slow track conditions so happy to go with that.

1.40 south....WHITTLE LE WOODS won well enough at newcastle and if he copes with the surface i fancyhim to justify favouritism.

Hope you don’t mind me posting one up in your thread T tacker

1.15 Gowran Park - Lost Oscar

Ran in a race won by Aaron’s day lto, I watched an Irish racing show called Off the ball and the trainer of Aaron’s day tipped him up mentioning that he had a stone in hand off his current mark. He also tipped another decent priced winner from that show and seemed like a genuine guy (maybe he meant two stone?)

The second Ardamir won a 40k handicap from a 3lb higher mark two starts later.
The sixth Goodbye Someday is rated 31lbs higher.
The eighth Jiving Jerry has been placed in six of his seven starts since winning twice and is rated 16lbs higher.

If you watch back the race, when they jump the last Lost Oscar makes eye catching ground under the minimum of effort and looks a well handicapped horse IMO.

Quote from Peter Fahey after winning her bumper - She’s a cracking filly but I took a huge gamble running her here today as she’s a winter filly. We’ve had her in training all year waiting for soft ground. She’s a massive filly with a big pedigree and hopefully she’ll get a summers break and come back to be a nice filly for the autumn and winter.

Even if she needs this after a break, i would think they will be striking soon on this ground and she’s one to keep onside, possibly going up in trip.

Very interesting M Marshall , very much making me want to bet, good luck .

8.15 wolv....VALENTINE BLUES 8/1
Wouldn't normally look at a race like this but I think this horse ran well from a wide draw over 6f here lto and dropped another 1lb to 52 so just maybe connections have worked out that she might be a 5f filly. Probably the best you can say about her earlier form is that it wasn't without hope and likely that 7f was too far with signs of being keen over 6f but you would struggle to make a strong case for any of these imo even though we have a shortish price fav.

18:40 Little Red Socks 11; got to admit, mainly boredom. No chance if the Fav turns up the way he did yesterday but Harker 0-7 with prev AW winners (inc a 6/4).

Where's a 7yo found this sort of form? Suppose he hadn't run much on the AW until the last 12mths, but still odd. Seems to have 10-15lb in hand at the moment.

3.55 Ling Miss Fernanda
Nozierres

60/40 split.

I can see Nurse Florence and possibly Spark Fury getting stuck behind runners from the start although the latter could potentially get the lead.

Two bets are lightly raced and hold decent chances of not getting blocked although Nozierres could get a wide run
