I'm being honest. This is what I think. I'm f**ked off.

Great D'Ange gave his all. I love him. This was so his race but just like last time, collared and so unfair. I'm so upset Katie took this race.

Evaluation soon, if there is one possible from formlines.

I get £60 back so profit of £20 but so upset for Great D'Ange. Please let him win a race and hoping a 3 and a quarter mile chase at Newton Abbot. I could visit Newton Abbot races, if I see him running. I live in Crawley, West Sussex.

17:22 Newton Abbot 19 Jul 2026 Sun Racing Summer Jumps Championship Handicap Chase Class 5 | 4YO plus 3m 1f 170y Good to Firm (Good in places)

1 My Girl Katie (IRE) 9 10-10
2 1¼ Great D'ange (FR) 10 11-5 t v
3 9½ Premier Fantasy (IRE) 7 12-0 t
4 5 Mcgregors Charge 8 10-7 t1 p
5 3 Testflight 9 10-2
6 nk No More No (IRE) 7 11-13 t v
7 25 Honey I'm Good (IRE) 10 10-8 t v

On form Great D'Ange should be 12 and a quarter lengths in front of Testflight, as above evaluation. Great D'Ange was 17 and a half lengths in front of Testflight. Great D'Ange has run peak here and Testflight has run 5 and a quarter lengths below form, in this race. Not bad evaluation above. Testflight is better on Good Ground. Looking at those 2 runs with My Girl Katie 2025, Testflight run 8 and a half lengths worse, on Good (Good To Firm in places). So I assessed Testflight for Good (Good To Firm in places) for this race, knowing ground would be against him running his peak. Testflight has run even worse, as it was quicker, Good To firm (Good in places). This could be reason that Testflight has run another 5 and a quarter lengths below form, as ground quicker.

This also says that Great D'Ange handles Good To Firm (Good in places). Therefore those 2 runs with Honey I'm Good I put above, it is not ground to blame those runs when Great D'Ange run below peak. It is amateur jockey Mr Martin McIntyre that caused that horse to run below peak twice. Mr Martin McIntyre, hang up your boots! You can't ride!

Katie has run a lot better than last years form and I saw that she was held up in rear for a very long time, and this could a reason she has run better. Tactics.

I still got another £20 out of you 36 Vegas. Thanks.

Of Course I Can is forecast at 20/1, At The Races, this race being 3.15 Uttoxeter 24th July. Looks an E/W bet.

Also look out for Miami Jim 66/1. Trained by Rosemary Gasson, who had Jolly Boys Outing and Kilcascan, she is a capable trainer, Miami Jim could run fair race.

Karnival Point is in 3.42 Uttoxeter 26th July. Lets see what price he is.

£3 E/W If Course I Can 14/1 finished 5th. Handicapper has to relent. This was a competitive race.

£1 E/W Miami Jim 28/1. Saw 50/1 this morning. Not a 28/1 chance but even so, a small bet. This was too competitive for him and a small race somewhere, could be in his grasp.

I was unhappy as I have been thinking this week of Of Course I Can, then saw he wore cheek pieces. Also Miami Jim wore them. I try not to bet horses in cheekpieces, because of my interest in sheep. Some cheekpieces are just fleece and some are artificial but no way of knowing.

But as I have been thinking Of Course I Can all week, choose to bet. It was in the balance right up to 1430 hrs, if I would bet or not.

The last horse that I liked but had cheekpieces I never bet, and it was 3rd. I ruled that I would never bet a horse in cheekpieces again, and that was reason I never bet this horse that finished 3rd.

However, tempted this race.

I hate it though.

Never bet in Galway Plate before. Lets try to nail it.

6.40 Galway

Reverend Hubert is 12/1. He beat Solitary Man 2 and a quarter lengths giving 5 lb to Solitary Man. That says at level weights Reverend Hubert would beat Solitary Man 7 and a quarter lengths. Reverend Hubert is giving 3 lb in this race, so at weights Reverend Hubert should finish 4 and a quarter lengths in front of Solitary Man. I'm sure Solitary Man 40/1 is running a superb race.

Also Solitary Man beat Perceval Legallios 2 and a half lengths, Perceval Legallios giving 9 lb, last time. At level weights Perceval Legalios would finish 6 and a half lengths in front of Solitary Man. In this race, Perceval Legallios is giving 5 lb to Solitary Man, so should be a length and a half superior of Solitary Man. I think Perceval Legallios 28/1 is running a superb race.

Senecia is 125/1. This is absolutely crazy. Last time he beat Three Card Brag a length, giving 8 lb. At level weights Senecia is 9 lb better than Three Card Brag. Senecia is giving 7 lb to Three Card Brag. Senecia should finish 2 lengths superior of Three Card Brag, at these weights. Three Card Brag is just 16/1. Senecia is 125/1.

Also in that race Senecia took, Jesse Evans was 3rd, 4 lengths behind receiving 8 lb. At level weights Senecia is 12 lb better than Jesse Evans. Senecia is giving 7lb to Jesse Evans. Senecia should finish 5 lengths in front of Jesse Evans, at these weights. Jesse Evans is just 13/1.

Senecia E/W 125/1
Reverend Hubert E/W 12/1

Senecia unseated rider. Reverend Hubert never really competitive. Solitary Man never really competitive. £12 lost. Think Senecia could have been involved, in the finish.
