4.35 Market Rasen £5 E/W Just A Memory 16/1. Been looking at this horse all week, for this race. Fuming about price. About to put bet on at 22/1 and increase from £10 E/W to £15 E/W. Then they cut price to 16/1. I get hump. Just £5 E/W. You mess me about bookmakers, I mess you about. It is also with 36 Vegas.

Thanks 36 Vegas for that £752.50 on Friday, £25 E/W He is A Cracker 1st 18/1 I took, £622.50 profit and £10 E/W Great D'Ange 2nd 40/1 I took, £90 profit, same race Newton Abbot. You ain't getting it back!

That was £390 lost, not £340 prior to my £752.50 win Friday.

This is from Newton Abbot May 27th.

Frenati £20 lost.
Time To Bite £50 lost. Time To Bite has since run in Summer Cup and if he couldn't take that race at Newton Abbot, then he isn't able to take Summer Cup as this proved. Handicapper needs to relent.
Illogical Logic £200 lost. This is horse I'm angry about as I had some collateral form for this race, unlike these other races, and this horse is lazy.
Slaney Opera £70 lost. This horse could take a race soon. I would back him over anything from that Edgewell race at Newton Abbot, as he is better handicapped than them, and so is Radharc Na Slaine.
Samuel Spade £50 lost. That was Summer Cup.

So £20 lost Just A Memory here, and also looked to have a chance but run terrible time before, so best watch this horse.

I remember used to back odds on prices. Amount of times lost money, either something messes up or another horse just better and bookmakers have wrong odds.

I remember a rare occasion I laid Shishkin on Betfair at Ascot to get £400. I'm sure you remember. Shishkin refused. Sorry to all those that lost. That was so unfair you never had a run. Just thought something would happen. As long as you are enjoying it like you are plus making money, that is great BC.

Thought about Karnival Point 2.30 Uttoxeter Tuesday 7th July but was busy. At The Races forecast 5/2 but thought could be likely short and ended up 5/4. Pleased this horse took this race.

Come on Pipe. Where are your good horses? Where are your Cheltenham festival horses? Being fair, he is kind to his horses and rests them. I assume he hasn't backers to buy better horses or poor selection.

His best times were from Martins horses, Madison Du Berlais, Our Vic, etc.

Love it if you find another good horse. In the meantime, enjoy your winners at Newton Abbot and Uttoxeter.
 
In for a treat Sunday at Newton Abbot. Another 3 mile 2 furlong handicap chase. You know there is some collateral form. Great D'Ange, Benny Baloo, Testflight, Honey I'm Good, Edgewell, plus My Girl Katie.

About to put collateral form up, from Good (Good to Firm in places) form, but see Newton Abbot ground is currently Good To Firm. Come on Newton Abbot, water that ground. Sure you are!

My selection is my friend Great D'Ange, 2nd at 40/1 for me, 3rd July.

Edgewell 1st, 2nd Honey I'm Good, 3rd Benny Baloo and 4th Testflight. I'm evaluating them at current weights. I think by race time, Honey I'm Good is having a 10lb claimer like last time, Testflight and Benny Baloo are running out of handicap. So these could be adjusted. I also think Edgewell is not running, as run 10th July.

Testflight is set to carry 9st 13lb and Benny Baloo 9st 9lb. Last time Testflight gave 4lb to Benny Baloo and Testflight neck behind. If they get into handicap, I think this again, but if they meet at level weights out of handicap, Testflight would be three and three quarter lengths in front. This could be adjusted. So far I'm evaluating it, like their meeting before.

Honey I'm Good and Benny Baloo met at level weights, in that race. Honey I'm Good finished one and three quarter lengths in front. Now has to give 11lb. Remember, Honey I'm Good could carry a 10lb claimer. I'm evaluating at current weights though and adjust near time, if required.

Edgewell gave 14lb to Honey I'm Good and beat her three quarters of a length. Edgewell has to give 13lb this time but remember, could be a 10lb claimer, Honey I'm Good.

Remember that 10lb claimer Osian Radford could be riding Honey I'm Good. If so, this is a great job from handicapper framing Benny Baloo, Testflight and Honey I'm Good. As Benny Baloo and Testflight could be running out of handicap, claimers could be put up or both carrying 10st would effect this collateral form, and therefore I would adjust. Very surprised that Edgewell took another race. Thought handicapper could have him for that Newton Abbot run, but took another race at Worcester. Congratulations to those concerned and those that backed Edgewell, on this forum.

My Girl Katie and Testflight met twice last year. In this race last year that was run on Good ground, Testflight beat My Girl Katie one and three quarter lengths, Testflight receiving 3lb. At level weights, My Girl Katie beats Testflight one and a quarter lengths, that is on Good Ground.

However, in their previous meeting at Newton Abbot on Good (Good To Firm in places), My Girl Katie giving 5lb beat Testflight 4 and three quarter lengths. At level weights in that race, My Girl Katie beats Testflight 9 and three quarter lengths. That is 8 and a half lengths worse, Testflight would run than meeting in this race last year, on Good ground. I think Testflight found this ground Good (Good To Firm in places), a bit quick. I'm evaluating Testflight on Good (Good To Firm in places), as this is worse run and as ground like this last time at Newton Abbot when 4th, think Testflight is running like this as sure Newton Abbot are not providing Good ground, but Good (Good To Firm in places).

My Girl Katie has to give 9lb to Testflight and 8 and three quarter lengths better, on Good (Good To Firm in places). Therefore, My Girl Katie is finishing three quarters of a length in front of Testflight.

Great D'Ange was half a length 3rd behind My Girl Katie, 2nd in this race last year on Good ground. Great D'Ange giving 21lb to My Girl Katie. Great D'Ange gives just 9lb to My Girl Katie. That is Great D'Ange is 12lb better. Great D'Ange should finish 11 and a half lengths in front of My Girl Katie. Great D'Ange requires Good ground.

Lets put these in. Great D'Ange form on Good ground run.

There is however some form with Great D'Ange on Good To Firm ground. This is a line from Honey I'm Good.

Great D'Ange giving 10lb was beat 2 and three quarter lengths by Honey I'm Good. So at level weights, Great D'Ange beats Honey I'm Good 7 and a quarter lengths.

So Great D'Ange and Honey I'm Good run against each other twice. At Newton Abbot if it was level weights, Great D'Ange beats Honey I'm Good 7 lengths and at Stratford at level weights, Great D'Ange beats Honey I'm Good 7 and a quarter lengths. That is just a quarter length out and this is solid. Great D'Ange has Tom Broughton up claiming 3lb carrying 11st 3lb so gives 11lb to Honey I'm Good and that is without 10lb claiming jockey that could be put up, on Honey I'm Good. Therefore if ground has Good To Firm in it, Great D'Ange could run a terrible race, based on these 2 runs and finish 3 and three quarter lengths behind Honey I'm Good.

Hoping for Good ground so Great D'Ange can hammer them.

I love evaluating races so much. Adjust that race after final entries are in, with any conditional jockeys up and note any out of handicap horses.

That is Great D'Ange on Good ground form though.

This race, I think is being run, on Good To Firm ground.

That line above where I say in 2 races on Good To Firm ground if they are run at level weights, Great D'Ange is 7 lengths better than Honey I'm Good in one race, and 7 and a quarter better than Honey I'm Good in another, if Great D'Ange finds ground too quick, this is how Great D'Ange runs, that form.

Weights rose 2lb but Testflight 3lb, because 1lb out of handicap. Osian Radford should have been up riding Honey I'm Good. From that last race, Honey I'm Good has no chance with weights and a superb lay! Jockey can't claim 10lbs, Honey I'm Good loses 10 lengths.

I also say that run last year when Great D'Ange was 3rd to Testflight this race giving 24lb and beaten 2 and a half lengths is accurate. At level weights Great D'Ange would be 21 and a half lengths better than Testflight.

Right, using collateral formlines involving He Is A Cracker last run, then linking He is A Cracker to Of Course I Can, a run at Fontwell, then linking Of Course I Can and Testflight, a run at Newton Abbot, after adjusting all those lines at level weights, it creates a line that says Great D'Ange is 20 and a half lengths better than Testflight at level weights. As say in this race last year, it works out at level weights, Great D'Ange would beat Testflight 21 and a half lengths. That is just one length out, and very accurate.

That run with He Is A Cracker was run on Good (Good To Firm in places), so Great D'Ange run his Good ground form then, and not find ground too quick, unline those two meetings with Honey I'm Good, same ground.

I think 8/1 is an insult, Great D'Ange, so I'm getting on him, E/W.

About those runs last year that Great D'Ange met Honey I'm Good twice and collateral form at level weights says Great D'Ange is 7 lengths better in one race and 7 and a quarter lengths better in other race.

It could be jockey rather than ground too quick. I see in those races Mr Martin McIntyre was riding Great D'Ange both times. He run those races that was well below form of 3rd in this race in 2025 on Good ground, and 2nd in recent race on Good (Good To Firm in places). Those runs being Great D'Ange at peak, as in first evaluation above, that says he hacks up against those suggested, above.

That 2nd Evaluation that involves those 2 lines from Honey I'm Good that Mr Martin McIntyre was riding, could because he isn't as an effective jockey. I usually never blame jockey but he might not be as effective.

Great D'Ange run to peak, on Good ground (Good To Firm in places) that 2nd recent. One of those 2 runs with Honey I'm Good, it was also Good (Good To Firm in places). So either it was just a bit firm that time, or both runs with Honey I'm Good, below form, because of amateur jockey.
