Another thing is Hold Your Fort had Investment Manager 18 lengths behind in a race at Wincanton, when 2nd and 3rd respectively to Lord Accord and they met on the same terms here, so I was thinking Investment Manager has no chance in this race. Investment Manager finished 3rd, beaten 9 and a quarter lengths, this afternoon.

Wincanton run, here.

Also on Cheltenham running behind The Newest One on October 25th 2024, Hold Your Fort finishing 7th giving 7lb was in front of Planned Paradise by 2 and a half lengths. After adjusting the weights, it says Hold Your Fort is 9 and a half lengths better than Planned Paradise at level weights. In this race this afternoon, Hold Your Fort has beat Planned Paradise 8 and a half lengths at level weights, so that is very accurate.

Check that amateur h'cap chase at Cheltenham they were in, behind The Newest One.

Race result this afternoon.

Hold Your Fort has no chance in the 2.00 Uttoxeter.

On form with Lord Accord at Wincanton 17th October 2024 on good ground, Lord Accord beat Hold Your Fort 16 lengths giving 6lb to Hold Your Fort. After adjusting weights at 1 lb a length, that is Lord Accord beating Hold Your Fort 22 lengths. In the 2.00 Uttoxeter, Lord Accord is giving just 1 lb to Hold Your Fort. That is Lord Accord beating Hold Your Fort 21 lengths. If Hold Your Fort is beaten 21 lengths in the 2.00 Uttoxeter, he has run well.

My selection is Lord Accord. I have £5 E/W at 18/1.

Lord Accord was running well but also looked a bit lazy, Conor O'Farrell pushing him at some points and was outpaced, in the straight. Seems age has caught up with him, being outpaced and beaten long way. Best to avoid Lord Accord, in future.

Ali Star Bert 2nd at 18/1. Profit of £7.50 from Ali Star Bert. Community Rebels run was like a rebel, very ungenuine and never back this horse again I say, this horse is useless! Lost £5. So £2.50 profit from race, but £10 lost before, Lord Accord, so lost £7.50 in total bets.

Hold Your Fort finishing 2nd beaten like Solness in the Melling Chase. So close and thought Hold Your Fort was going to win, as travelling really well. Beaten half a length this time. It might as well been another bloody neck.

Thought Iron Bridge was his main opponent plus massive chance but 5/2. Thought Hold Your Fort is paying a price for winning those h'caps but Callum claiming 3lbs helps. Hope Hold Your Fort runs at Newton Abbot soon as he is a course specialist there, winning 5 races. If Hold Your Fort runs at Newton Abbot, I'm making a journey there from Sussex to see him.

Horantzau D'airy 2.35 Uttoxeter. May 2nd Saturday.

I backed Horantzau D'airy in the 2025 Grand National. I hoped to keep a look out for when he is running again but missed every time he has run since! Best run was 2nd at 50/1, in this race last year! That was first run since I backed Horantzau D'airy, in the 2025 Grand National. Backing him, in this race.

My Gift To You 4.38 Fakenham. May 4th Monday. This is the Norfolk National. I have been looking at the form of Stans The Man in last years Norfolk National and if James Owen has his 3lb claimer as he has been riding this horse, then My Gift To You beats Stans The Man 3 lengths. Other runners from last years race can't reverse form at weights. Also Stans The Man finished 2nd in Sussex National, and having Stans The Man as a formline from that race, those runners from the Sussex National can't reverse form at the weights either, with Stans The Man. So it is My Gift To You first by 3 lengths if they put that 3lb claimer up, and Stans The Man finishing 2nd. I enjoyed looking at this form, before this race.

My Gift To You is now running in the 7.25 at Warwick, Friday, I just saw it by chance. A big surprise. So now not running in Norfolk National, Monday I assume, unless they take him out of Friday and running in Norfolk National. Also he is 12/1 in this hunter chase at Warwick. That is crazy. Backing him for sure.

Horantzau D'airy 2.35 Uttoxeter, May 2nd Saturday, suggestion by At The Races he is 12/1. I'm looking at Peaky Boy also and thinking about betting that also. Suggestion by At The Races he is 16/1, but last runs have been terrible and not sure he has been able to take to quicker pace of h'cap chases, than novice chases. Thinking.

Lets have some bets at Warwick Friday. It seems a very interesting evening, hunter chases. Not big bets, just a £1 or £2.

5.05 Ultimate Survivor 9/2
5.40 Alaphilippe 4/1
Not sure and could be leaving 6.15 but if I chose a horse, it could be Crawter 11/4
6.50 All Loved up 11/2

So that horse I have been banging on about this week winning the Norfolk National but then is run at Warwick 7.25 Last night, MY GIFT TO YOU WINS 12/1. I took 12/1 as put up on here last night with 36 Vegas. £10 on him as put up, last night so £120 profit. Wish it was £100 I put on! I thought about £20 or £40 last night but so cautious so put £10 but so sure as I put up. Love you My Gift To You. Why was My Gift To You available at 12/1 last night? A huge plunge into 9/4!

I guess some people thought that also and knew their point to point form. They put a lot more money on My Gift To You, than me, to create that plunge.
