Forums are probably going to be very susceptible to that bug but it's an easy enough fix. The patch came out very quickly.
There's only so much you can do in forum software though unless you're hosting it yourself.

It's the exact same race, they just measure them differently now and have audited a lot of courses over the last few years. Some were just plain wrong distances to begin with, others have copped for standardisation.

Even the Grand National has had it's distance adjusted even though it's the same race.
