Thapa VC - 8.20 Kempton

I'm giving one last chance to this Thapa VC, a bit of a cliff horse for me.

Oisin Murphy returns to the saddle. Hope he learnt a lot from the last time he rode it and will finally get it to put its head in front.

Don’t give up mate, I posted 37 consecutive losers on a thread once, a chastening experience but looking at what I was doing and adapting the method, I started to find some winners and ended the season in profit
 
Angel Sense - 5.13 Newbury.

In a race full of unexposed types and complete debutants, Angel Sense brings the strongest form to the table. She was a narrow second on debut at Kempton and followed up with two solid thirds at Nottingham and Wolverhampton.

The form of her last run at Wolverhampton in late May has been franked since. The fourth-place horse from that race came out and won, and the fifth-place finisher went on to run an excellent third in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. That is serious form for a Class 4 novice event.

Marco Botti is dropping her back down to her preferred 6f trip after she seemed to just stretch her stamina limits over 7f last time out. Additionally, she is fitted with a first-time tongue strap today, which suggests the yard has identified a way to eke out a bit more finishing power.
