The Ubermensch 2.39 Yarmouth.

Someone put this up the last time it ran. It may have been Sullybomb?

Anyway the poster said after the race he didn't think it was genuine.

I disagreed and said I thought the jockey had taken it back to avoid a loose horse.

I guess we will soon find out.

Last Verse is by Camelot, stepping up to 1m 4f for the first time should unlock plenty of improvement, as should the first time cheekpieces.

It's significant I think, Oisin has gone to Chepstow and with a 5 runner race, could turn tactical.
No one I would like more on my side than Oisin.

Mighty Magnus - 1.30 Newmarket.

Last time out, he ran in a much tougher Class 2 handicap at York. While he finished 5th, he wasn't disgraced at all against that level of competition. Dropping back down to a Class 4 here makes his life a lot easier.

Two starts ago, he won with plenty in hand in a Class 4 over this 5-furlong trip at Musselburgh.

Dropped to its lowest mark of 70, in the past it has won off 87.

A good run this season at a big price behind Station X, followed by two lesser efforts.

The last one again behind Station X, in a fast time race and 5lb out of the handicap.

Hope to see it get away a little faster today.

Needs to learn to break better, today was certainly not the day. Fastest Horse but crucially the WORST starter. Gave away approx 4.5L with the poor start and was beaten 5.25L overall.
