The Fine Form Master Formula

Just rated the Wol 8.00 by Fineform for a mate for interest and overlooked the 7.30 due to the dearth of good consistent form.

Wolverhampton (going forecast standard) RP Spotlight selects Share The Profits (8 pundits agree 5 oppose)
8.00 Market expected 4.00* no's 1, 2, 3, 5 indicating a win restricted to these. Theoretical strong fav 2/1, possible contender 4/1 to 8/1, not expected longer than 8/1.

1*. 66 = 5/2 Fineform fair (4/1 mkt) Share The Profits 9 tips (D). LTO 16, +8lbs, =cls, T Marquand today. 1/14 +3/4L shaken to lead ran on well finish
2*. 40 = 5/1 (10/3) Alaskan Jewel. LTO 132? +10lbs? -1cls*, same jock. 3/9 -3 1/2L? kept on no match for first two.
3*. 27 = 15/2 (3/1) (Battle Point 2 tips)
4. 32 = 13/2 (9/1) Accelerando. LTO 50? +1lb, same cls, J Hart today. 3/9 -3/4L led headed kept on lost 2nd finish
5*. 28 = 15/2 (13/2)
6. 15 = 15/1 (17/2)
7. 6 = 40/1 (14/1)
8. 0 = ? (80/1)
9. 12 = 18/1 (9/1)

Comment: Of the Fineform top three the verdict has to go with Share The Profits. (I also applied Sozimple which gives, 8 Share The Profits, 6 Alaskan Jewel, 6 Battle Point).

ATR form verdict for comparison.
SHARE THE PROFITS took a step in the right direction when winning a shade cosily at Southwell last month and the three-year-old filly can defy a 6lb rise for that success here. Accelerando posted a promising third when last seen at Chelmsford in November and she looks to be the chief threat to the selection on her first start for Stuart Williams, while Battle Point is worth a second look on his handicap debut.

Top Tip: SHARE THE PROFITS (1)
Watch out for: ACCELERANDO (4)

I cherry pick the ones that I post here, but backing those blindly that the system throws up performs well. Unlike some examples that I have seen posted on this thread, there is only one horse selected and not multiple selections in the same race. All are clearly Fineform Top Rated as per the Booklets

With a starting Bank of £100 and a 5% Ratchet staking would have seen the bamk grow to over £19,000

Hello, reading this thread - I did have (like a lot of others I suspect) Clive Holt's book...somewhere in the loft now.

Is Carausius in the 6.20 Southwell today a qualifier.....? Not sure with regards "current season". Certainly same all weather season....cheers, Steve

Has the correct number of points but is not showing up in my system which has a few extras to consider.

I do get bored just bashing out figures for every race on offer so today I have returned to an almost basic Fineform master formula rating to get my own tissue to compare with the early market
8-)
.

Ludlow (going forecast S with some GS) RP Spotlight selects Malaita ( 1 pundit agrees 12 oppose)
3.00 Market expected 09.50* no's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 indicating an open contest. Theoretical strong fav 7/4, possible contender 7/2 to 7/1, not expected longer than 7/1.

1*. 17 = 4/1 Fineform fair odds (7/1) Tequila Blaze 2 tips (D). LTO 24, +10lbs? -1 cls*, Mr R Lee-Eadie (10) up today. 2/7 -5 1/2L, ridden edged right no extra approaching last kept on.
2*. 13 = 11/2 (7/1)
3*. 15 = 9/2 (9/4) Terresita. 5 tips. LTO 19, +5lbs, +1cls?, same jock (10). 1/6 +16L*, travelled strongly pushed along went clear home turn easily*
4*. 8 = 10/1 (5/1)
5*. 15 = 9/2 (3/1) So Said I. 3 tips. LTO 33, =egt, +1cls? T Scudamore up today. 4/16 -8L? not fluent ridden headed soon no chance with winner lost 2nd lost 3rd finish?
6. 5 = 16/1 (12/1)
7. 7 = 11/1 (25/1)
8. 5 = 16/1 (14/1)

Comment: Doesn't look easy for punters on paper so I would have to dutch the three named.

ATR form verdict in comparison
The unexposed TERRESITA bolted up on her handicap debut at Fakenham at the beginning of the month and she merits the utmost respect today, despite an 8lb rise in the ratings. Glimpse Of Gala has won two of her last three starts and the progressive mare may still have more to offer, while Tequila Blaze edges out Malaita and So Said I to be the pick of the remainder.

Top Tip: TERRESITA (3)
Watch out for: GLIMPSE OF GALA (2)
