Is there a thread about up in class or a chart describing the lbs difference between class im trying to rate horses who have won lets say a class 4 and move up to class 3 what would be a weight given be a chance the horse could win off
Not sure what you are asking - problem with race class by OR is the BHA mess with the entry weights in order to “hopefully” fill the stalls - so a horse might be well in on its form - does not always mean it is well in the race

its about the weight given in pounds not Or the horse may go up 5lbs for a win yet only re

cieve 2lb in weight

Take Claiming Races, where Triners decide how much weight put on their runner. They have to balance the risk of the horse being claimed cheaply by putting less weight on or increase its Climing price by giving the horse more weight to carry

Look at 3rd LTO Race won, Over 12F , carried 8.12 Median OR 55

Then pushed up in distance and carries 21 Lb more physical weight than when winning. Next Race Pushed up in distance even more and 27 Lbs more physical weight carried since winning race

Today was Median OR 49 and back to 12f and much less physical weight than LTO Race.
The last two races have conditioned the horse without having its OR raised very much since winning, and then dropped to a lower Class than it winning race at Leicester
