At the 200m point as Ensued and Dubai Honour were in the lead and Voyage Bubble came sweeping past it looked like I might have the 1,2,3, which would have been nice as I had Ensued at big price EW and it shortened down to 13/2. But as Voyage Bubble as ran away from to get 1st, Ensued and Dubai Honour faded in the last 100m

Voyage Bubble is a class ahead of these and would have won in most circumstances, but some of the worst examples of jockeyship were displayed in that race, Purton on Ensued firing his horse forward mile out causing a suicidal pace duel was the highlight in a race where many jockeys went crazy.
McDonald just had to sit and steer past the carnage.

Voyage Bubble wins another Group 1 over an extended trip for him.

The time of the 1000, race is so slow even on my slowest standard time, this has to be a wrong time or timing mechanism error. Shot across to the super fast rail and nothing could get close to it.

I like a bit horse racing in Hong Kong on a Sunday morning sometimes. I was meant to go once but me and a pal were so pissed up all week when we were in Hong Kong we missed it !
Anyway on my ratings I have it between Voyage Bubble , Ensued and Dubai Honour.
Both Voyage Bubble and Dubai Honour have previously beaten Ensued but Voyage Bubble and Dubai Honour haven’t yet crossed swords.
Voyage Bubble & Ensued feature in strong trial race statistics , see attached table for full detail but a key example being Voyage Bubble was 1st and Ensued 2nd in the Sha Tin Hong Kong Gold Cup Flat Stakes 1m 2f Group1 23/02/2025. Over the last 10 years, 36 horses have gone from the Hong Kong Gold Cup to the following Hong Kong Champions & Chater Cup and 6 (16.7%) have won and 11 (30.6%) have won or placed. Within that group are 5 winners of the Hong Kong Gold Cup and 3 (60%) won.
The early prices shown in the UK have Voyage Bubble evens, Dubai Honour 7/4 and Ensued 20/1

Excellent pawras pawras and a great review from O Outlander . As you say the worry was the extra 2f for Voyage Bubble but seemingly no problem with the other 2 on the last 400m sectionals. Nearly a second quicker is a top effort. The closest finishers nothing special though.

"There's a small issue in the database. For instance, take race RNO 6096 — just picking at random, the horse GOLDEN RISE.
FT : OK - Sections : OK - There's a mistake in the 200m splits towards the end of the race.
GOLDEN RISE FT 69.76 S1 24.59 - S2 22.05 - S3 23.12 => Correct
Split last 4 f : 11.28 11.28 11.46 11.54 => False should be :10.93 11.12 11.29 11.83
