I hope it pisses it down tonight and it’s soft for the gold cup, because that is where the horse should have been instead on messing about in that tinpot Ryanair nonsense.

Mullins is seeking to pressure the course to water the track even more that it already does, don't blame him for trying but they should hit back and remind him that in the past they have run on faster ground than "good" , I can recall the word "hard" being used years ago so they shouldn't listen to mullins or any other trainer.

I presume the very word used to describe the most ideal ground conditions for horse racing has "good" is meant to convey something close to perfection ?

Going stick for the Friday last year was 5.9.

Yesterday morning it was 6.1, so every chance it could be the same this morning

Soft ground gold cup with no Fact to File pure karma, years of messing punters around guessing which race his horses are running in and he has an outstanding candidate with ground he wants on his way back to Ireland because he wanted to be odds on for a Ryanair.
I don’t care how many winners he’s trained in Cheltenham and yes he finally ran a champion mare in the champion hurdle this year but that is appalling training.

withdraw from a race he should never have been in, I bet he wouldn’t have withdrawn him today.
maybe he thinks he’s going to win with one of his other gold cup horses, or maybe Mullins wants Gaelic warrior , but I don‘t care there is nothing clever in leaving champion hurdles behind for stayers hurdles with Annie Power and and mares hurdles with Annie Power and Lossiemouth and now a gold cup with Fact to File, arguably 2 gold cups and counting.
The guys is like a child with too many Christmas presents spends all day opening them and doesn’t have time to play with any of them properly.
Its just robbing fans when the best horses don’t get to run against each other, need to move the mares hurdle to another meeting at least a month away from the festival and get rid of the Ryanair.
 
And now they are looking for others to blame. Not very sporting , I think the clerk and his team got it spot on this year regarding watering.
 
I'd say imo the Gold Cup seems quite an open race

Unbelievable, fuming, I've put 15 Mullins horses on today and played trebles, cost quite a bit, but I didn't have Apolon De Charnie, that's probably my day ruined already!
 
I had Proactive, Selma De Gary, Macho Man and Minella Academy, typical, thanks Willie, he did the same thing to me last year with Poniros the bugger.
 
Going stick for the chase course is 5.3 so officially slower than last year, although the first chase was a fair time.

Probably be offficially slow for the Gold Cup
