On The Platform run well and finished up 12/1 well backed, but I think never near to challenge. Hoped for 3rd at a point. Certain to win a race soon. Keep on my hit list.
 
I think 12/1 is AN ABSOLUTE INSULT for My Gift To You 3.55 Cartmel after My Gift To You won at Warwick for me 12/1 backed into 9/4, so £10 E/W this race.
 
My Gift To You run well for some way but was 5th. Just to point out I rarely bet at Cartmel but like Fakenham, never won there! £5 E/W Mistymal 15/2 4.30 Cartmel.

Hold Your Fort beats Honey I'm Good 4 and a quarter lengths, Hold Your Fort conceding 19lb. At level weights, Hold Your Fort would beat Honey I'm Good 23 and a quarter lengths.

May 14th 2025 Newton Abbot 3 miles 2 furlongs Good (Good to firm in places)

Hold Your Fort finishes 2nd, 3 and a half lengths in front of Unspeakable, Hold Your Fort conceding 19lb. At level weights, Hold Your Fort would be 22 and a half lengths in front of Unspeakable.

This formline from Hold Your Fort says at level weights, Unspeakable is three quarters of a length better, than Honey I'm Good.

Honey I'm Good is carrying 10st 8lb after adjusting Osian Radfords 10lb claim and Unspeakable is carrying 11st 2lb. Therefore at these weights today, Honey I'm Good is finishing 7 and a quarter lengths in front of Unspeakable.

June 24th 2025 Newton Abbot 3 miles 2 furlongs Good (Good to firm in places)

Illogical Logic finishes 3rd, 2 lengths behind Testflight, and Illogical Logic conceding 29lb. At level weights Illogical Logic would be 27 lengths in front of Testflight. ILLOGICAL LOGIC AND TESTFLIGHT MEET TODAY, AT LEVEL WEIGHTS! Illogical Logic has a 7lb claiming jockey so carries 10st 12lb. Testflight also carries 10st 12lb. Remember, this race above Illogical Logic wore cheekpieces and not been on for some time. Today, cheekpieces back on. Expect Illogical Logic to run to his best form. I think hack up.

So what in f***s name happened at Newton Abbot, Tuesday?

This is what happened.

You remember from my collateral form, I said Honey I'm Good would finish 5 and a quarter lengths in front of Testflight at those weights?

Honey I'm Good finished 2nd, 2 lengths in front of Testflight in 4th. So they ran about right. Now that lazy bastard Edgewell that lost me £50 at Hereford, he never tried, took this race by three quarters of a length from Honey I'm Good in 2nd.

So as Illogical Logic is 27 lb better than Testflight as I put in my evaluation above, and Testflight was beat 2 and three quarter lengths, then Illogical Logic should have took this race by 24 and a quarter lengths.

I was right. Illogical Logic should have took that race.

This is why Illogical Logic hasn't took this race.

Illogical Logic has peak form with cheekpieces, these have not been used in some time and horse began to run terrible, as soon as cheekpieces were not applied.

Since then, this first run, Illogical Logic has cheekpieces put on. Illogical Logic was pushed to front early and looked a tricky ride. Has to be run from front.

Illogical Logic then gave up turning in and weakened. That is my evaluation, what I think, lazy bastard.

If not and Illogical Logic is not as capable as he was, then it is unusual that Illogical Logic lost his form, as soon as cheekpieces were not applied.

I think it is they are reapplied and not work like before.

I think Honey I'm Good and Testflight are taking races soon.

Edgewell is tricky and handicapper is having him for that, so leave.

Edgewell and Special John both run in a 4 horse race at Fontwell, Edgewell finishing 3rd and Special John finishing 2nd. Special John also took a race at Bangor previous. Solid form.

Est Illic run alright at Bangor but I thought they were running too quick. Visor helped but weakened 2 out and well beat. Fair run for my money.

No collateral form for this race.

Slaney Opera was outpaced and tried to travel into contention 2 out but was not able to challenge.
