Hi K kralken your words where not taken as criticism (both Chesham Chesham and myself " liked " your post), and my response was just intended to clarify without rubbing anyone's nose in it. :)

How about this.....If you contribute X number of posts you get to go into the Inner Sanctum, then if you then increase your posts to an even higher number you get access to the blogs.I reckon Tacker is well on his way with 2417 messages,5592 Reaction Score and 31 points. So I reckon Tacker should have access to all parts of the site where as little humble me with a crap 309/733/ and 3 points should be made to clean out the bogs and wash the pots :) :) :)

Sorry Kenny, we don't operate that way - we tend to look at quality rather than quantity.

Just a minute dave58 dave58 it's only just dawned on me that i'm the "quantity" you're referring to, i've checked for any of them silly orange things but no!, just a straight forward attack. tut tut.
Is it silly season or a case of Lockdown Cabin Fever.

Either way you and others post loads of winners - all pre race with reasoning why and why not to bet based on observations or form.

Not sure what the policy is regarding locked forums but as Chesham Chesham points out they can be created or not.

Not sure of the numbers or members who made up the origonal inception membership list As far as I know everyone comes from the OS originally ? perhaps not.

We are where we are , best to just post amongst those that reciprocate and ignore the others. There is an ignore button that does work if required.

I think the post made by Tacker was Just his sense of humour as that is what he usually claims

This is how the forum works.
New members are welcome to join our little group - if they join in and contribute then ArkRoyal ArkRoyal and myself will make the decision to grant them access to the inner sanctum, where they will be able to access more information.
That’s it in a nutshell, and where we leave the room.

From there -

Everyone here has the opportunity to start their own personal blog and specify who has access to it.

A while ago Chesham Chesham and mlmrob mlmrob decided to do this, titled it the IS blog, and they together with mick mick control the membership.

We obviously facilitate this, but the bottom line is that we respect their decisions regarding content and membership, as it's their initiative.

Reading dave58 dave58 above for new members or those who have yet to earn Green the IS contains a wealth of interesting and useful info, certainly the best i have seen on any racing forum, but its really down to what you do when you get there. All Reg members have the opportunity to start threads which can kick start good contribution from others. :) Dave uses the word initiative and this applies to all sections of the forum.

Morning kenny jones kenny jones , While i managed to recognise that this post was an attempt at banter and in the main at my expense (thanks) not everybody understands humour even if you pepper it with orange faces, now because we don't know each other we form opinions of who people are and you remind me as a cross between Tony Benn and Judy Garland ( ask your butler who she is ) , so now that you have expressed a rather lofty ambition to be a bog cleaner might i suggest you adopt a more agreeable attitude to your betters in future, you'll need a cap to ring.

"How do we get rid of you" Tony Benn, Not a big fan of his policies but very much respected the man.

The number who have access to what is known as The Inner Sanctum Blog has always been under 20 since we started the Blog. mlmrob mlmrob , mick mick and myself, continually review who has access to The Inner Sanctum Blog.

We are not that bothered who posts loads of winners all with pre race reasoning, although The quality of posts do count towards being offered to join the Blog as a contributor, the most important factor in the decision is how the individual will fit in with the other members. We are not looking for “Brain Of Britain” but certainly not looking for those who disrupt the flow of threads or who are just not really interested in exploring new ideas or methods that are different To their own.

As you know being a Blog Member yourself we respect each other’s contributions even if they are different to anything we may do ourselves. we support each other, especially when going through bad times, that can be on a personal level and have nothing to do with Horse Racing or betting.

Hi Chesham,
Historically I have had rich pickings(over long term) with claimers. And my biggest hit back in the day were sellers(ignoring some infamous trainer coups that I managed to get wind of) and maidens(its all in the breeding) :) :)
The big field handicaps are also good for outsiders.
I dont know if the games changed much since I was at it a couple of decades back, certainly a lot more racing about(and trainers and jocks)
Ken
Form my Claiming Races Thread on “The Blog “

Another claiming winner, very well done Chesham Chesham , hopefully some on here followed you.

I somehow managed to miss it.
You did not miss it as it was from The Claiming Races Thread on The Inner Sanctum Blog
They may have done, but they all have there own successful methods without following me in. I always think it is the difference in methods that I appreciate.

I do find if two or more Blog members snap on the same horse but from different methods they often win

I must say there are some very promising new members who are using and demonstrating their different methods on the OS and many have deservedly progressed to the Inner Sanctum part of the Forum.
