Thank you Chesham - much appreciated. When people disappear suddenly, I tend to think the worst. So that's good to hear.

Yes i use my ratings as a starting point seeking a race where i have only one top rated & plus rated horse of interest. When found i then profile to establish or attempt to conclude that the race will enable it to take best advantage of its positive rating and i find my ratings for each of the animals past runs are also most helpful as part of this often confusing and complex process.

I believe that some of the best judges in this game are the BHA Handicappers and i created my ratings to mirror there's in the hope that i can sometimes disagree with them. Mine are expressed as + ( pounds well in ) = ( the correct weighting so no advantage ) and - ( Minus so not well in ). I make it difficult for any horse to earn a + rating so that in theory it has extra significance when found.

I have been using them for the past 20yrs now and on balance have come to feel fairly confident about betting off what they maybe attempting to tell me. !
