Todays selection.

Im A Starman - 6.27 Worcester

On a winnable mark and has everything in his favor in terms of track, trip, and jockey,

Back in the chasing sphere, he is running off a mark that is 12 lb lower than his current hurdles rating. I'm trusting Sean can get him to translate his recent hurdles form back over the larger obstacles, where he is incredibly well-treated.

Currently 6.6 Betfair.

Naga - 3.05 Newmarket

John & Thady Gosden yard, Naga is handled by the absolute best in the business. The stable has an excellent record in targeting this specific race, having won it recently with a four-year-old carrying the same owner's silks.

This is her first try over 1m 4f. However, as a well-related daughter of Dubawi out of a Sea The Stars mare, her pedigree says she will relish this extra quarter-mile. The step up in trip could unlock plenty of hidden potential.

She completed a highly progressive hat-trick of handicap wins earlier this season, culminating in a smooth win at Doncaster back in April. While she was beaten in a tough Group 3 at Carlisle last time out, she wasn't completely disgraced and drops into a slightly less punishing class today

Been well backed.

Currently 7.6 Betfair.

Buccabay - 7.20 Windsor

Proven C&D Winner: He is a genuine track specialist who knows Windsor inside out. He notched a victory over this exact 6f 12y trip off a mark of 85 back in May 2025.

Handicap mark has slipped to a dangerous level: He carries top weight today off an official mark of 80. That puts him 5 lb lower than his last victory over this course and distance, making him extremely well-handicapped if he hits his stride.

He runs well fresh: Returning from a 122-day break, he has historically produced some of his best work when coming off a layoff. He doesn't need a tune-up run to be fully effective.

Eve Johnson Houghton consistently targets this Thameside venue and handles him well, booking Edward Greatrex who knows the horse intimately.

In previous match-ups against key market rival Amazonian Dream, Buccabay has finished well ahead of him over this specific course when both were on song.

Currently 10/1 B365.
