PREMIER LEAGUE

I posted a couple of days ago that Wolves would end up in the top four. Mostly, due to their recent run of form and that drastically from fixture congestion.

Top four looks a little optimistic to me but should give some interest throughout the season.

Small punt on Leeds at Half time - £2 at 38/1 - stranger things have happened.

EDIT : drew level to 3-3, took my stake out. Then I thought my luck was in as watching the small screen at bottom ( heavens knows why both teams shirts were blue !! ) and it said Penalty conceded, Liverpool............which to my knowledge of English means.......Liverpool conceded the penalty.
Alas, not.......stupid Betfair.

Wish I caught it from the beginning. Forgot about football, in general, today due to the racing. Would have been a great trading match......swings and roundabouts.

When I was a kid Leeds were one of the top teams we talked about in the street when having a knockabout. Allan Clarke was the hero I believe.
You could put jumpers down in the road back then for goalposts. Some great evenings we had then, after school.

.... I remember those days too where coats etc were used as goalposts in the streets. There were very few suitable empty patches of ground around where one could go, so it had to be the street. Also remember playing six and out or none and in at street cricket, with dust bin lids as wickets. Crazy good old days! ;)

In our road, there was this dirty great big Alsatian dog......I'm not kidding, it was a heavyweight.......and if the old boy who owned it was drunk and got rattled by us playing, he would just open his front door.
That was it.......game over.....no more football.......literally :(

Leeds back with a smash - great game
Just watched MOTD and it was very entertaining to see plenty of goals, neither team will be happy with the defending but leeds will be a threat to all this season. Liverpool have a knack of getting the win but i felt they were a little flattered last season and doubt they can reach the 99 points they got last season.

Put some pace in the game

Leeds need a better keeper or at least to retrain the current one

Leeds gave as good as they got yesterday in a great spectacle for the neutral and will be disappointed to come away pointless. An uncomfortable afternoon for the Liverpool defence.
On to today and it could be an historic day for Everton at Spurs. I think Spurs will probably squeeze a narrow win. The history to be created? A red card for Everton would see them as the only team to receive one in their opening fixture of the season three years on the trot since football was (re)invented in 1992. It could be for all time but I can’t be bothered to check😀.

Anyone done the sack race - first Premier manager to go

At the start of the season I backed

Moyes (Before yesterday's result!) West Ham

Bilic West brom

Hoping that WBA buy Joelinton for £40 million:eek:

Unless Newcastle have really improved (and even if they have their away record is not that good) it was a very poor result at home for Moyes. Like you say Delboy99 Delboy99 might be living on borrowed time. Thanks for your comments.

For the first time I have done about 30 antipost bets on the football this year for the first time. Can't remember them all. One was Chelsea in the handicap with +18 points. Morecambe in the top half at 7/2, Leeds to finish in the top 10 and Blackpool highest scoring team . The list is endless LOL. At least it will keep my interest up for the season. ( I sometimes use my own ideas, but I also use football tipsters and analysts and I pick out a selection of their tips which I think are best!)

SPURS V EVERTON
Fair result for everton but tott looked fairly ordinary today and top 6 looks optimistic to me, this lad richarlson might not be the finished article but he's certainly a handful, doherty just couldn't handle him today.

Two premier matches tomorrow

Sheffield and Wolves look tight and difficult for me

Chelsea need to leave the starting blocks sharp for me and my handicap bet. Hoping they can win. Not a bet at the odds. Sometime I have time to look at corners or cards, but I am away for most of the day.

(The way they are playing your bet for Arsenal in the handicap looks a good one T tacker )
Any comments/bets for these matches welcome folks!
