PLUSNET ARE GOLD PLATED WANKERS

Counselling is available but first you need to use our 26 options menu phone and by the time you get the correct one and a response you will have forgotten what your original complaint or problem was.;)

I will take the simpler option Mick and employ Aberama Gold to sort out the culprits :minigun:

terrific stuff guys...been missing this...obviously not the anguish NigelRG NigelRG but great avatar as well Graeme Graeme ill have to find a good one...its slightly getting me in the festive mood although ive been terribly humbug this year as the horses not going well. sounds like alot of you really do live out in the sticks (chris evans tried telling everyone he did although he lives in ascot and eventually had to concede to calling his house "the sticks" to get anyone to believe him!)
we are with plusnet NigelRG NigelRG and am very happy, have fibre tho and they sort out problems better than talk talk ever did we do live in a nice village but its on a bus route between chester and wrexham so and pretty pleased as we are not too far from civilisation and yet lots of nice rural stuff to do.

I live in a very small Village Blackcat and the internet was usable even for my Betfair trading software but what was once a Garden Centre 100 metres away is now Nine super executive houses since the build of them the Internet is even Crapper.
PS. Cue elmoputney elmoputney quoting and editing my post to start with "I have a very small Willy Blackcat" :lolsign:

nicksar nicksar oh i see i get the expansion thing, they have only built about twenty large houses up the road so it doesnt seem to have affected us, most of the village is bungalows which is great for older people really. there is virgin caable in the village but not active yet, as for tv i have IPTV now on firesticks and it mainly works fine i can put up with a bit of freezing cos its so cheap! made me laugh reading the govt advice on kodi boxes( have one also) scaremongering and saying they go on fire and how they are taking money from legitimate businesses! since when has SKY been legit:rofl:

I live in a very small Village you aren't from round ere are you? Blackcat the internet was created on the 8th day of black Friday and even for my Betfair trading software it was a struggle to cope with my demands on society, but what was once a Garden Centre is now my secret lair, I am the Lord of the dance and regularly dance round in my underground Base listening to Kylie Minogue and Bananarama

PS. elmoputney elmoputney is king and didn't quote and edit my post to start with " but I have a very small Willy " :lolsign:

Kaz, I've been with BT, Talk talk, Sky and Plusnet and they're all terrific when your not using BT's wartime cabling (We still have a WW2 bomb dump at the end of a lane near us). The problem is that TT got Openreach in and the cleaned lots of connectors but TT wouldn't fix the variable line attenuation problem (63.5 to 70.5 db's), neither Sky or Plusnet will get it fixed. Our fibre cab is covered in weeds ,no power supply we should have got it in 2013.
So I'm going to Andrews and Arnold, good ratings on the net. blackcat blackcat

Ps ...... My 3/4 hr to plusnet resulted in a dropped line.

NigelRG NigelRG my sympathies,we have had big problems in the past and I'm sure a lot depends on which engineer they send,we had a really clever lad come and try to explain to me all the fault codes on the line and talk like you do about technical stuff.he sorted the problem. We've also had one come and sort our no land line problem, explaining that another engineer had simply nicked our line to solve someone else's line! Also I've been told a few times that when they are down the hole they tend to knock wires and then u end up with problems!

I never mess with them i just cancel the direct debit and go elsewhere, it is unbelivable with some companys i would go mental otherwise some of the things they do and tell you defy logic.

'So I'm going to Andrews and Arnold, good ratings on the net.'

Oh NO I'm not, I missed somewhere in the blurb, they only move the BB and not the bloody phone.

That would oh so popular with my missus.

Generally yes Ferdy Ferdy but not on this thread.

Spent 3/4 of a hour today trying to contact them to tell them I'm leaving.

Maybe so, but I do not like anyone editing my posts and re-posting them as if it was me.
This is not at all funny to me because other people could get the wrong idea.
It may be a private joke that I am not privy to, but I certainly do not like my name being assigned to something that I did not say.

Actually Ferdy it was one of my posts that was initially edited, and another couple since,i have found it amusing:D and for what it's worth the culprits have left more serious posts I've made on other threads alone.

Crying shame that Ferdy Ferdy has been offended and FWIW I am sorry that I injected humour into a thread where poor NigelRG NigelRG was having a hard time and sought to lighten things up. Apologies to Ferdy Ferdy for that.

In the meantime I am glad that others have enjoyed the exchange and if I see humour in a post in such a manner in the future I will offer an alternate post unquoted.

Hey - its the season of goodwill so lets all get back to having fun - and go find us some winners!
