Another no bet day

Just a little update.

From 24th April - 10th July the overall totals. Bets 97 wins 27 Profit +12.45pts

With a couple of long losing runs one being 18, very happy to get back in to profit especially over the last 4 weeks, being a lot more selective has made a massive difference. Early days yet but feeling confident I can keep making a steady profit through the rest of the year.

There were a few today, either price too skinny or I think the pace of the race just won't suit. So it's another no bet day.

Might be a bit crazy having a play in this but here we go.

15:00 Newmarket Quinault 1pt win and Washington Heights 1pt win

To be honest I really like a few Desert Cop ran in a group 1 6/17 lto and he was 2/7 in a listed race time before that now dropping back down to handicap level, looking at the trends only two horse have won this with a OR 100+ another danger is the unexposed Tajalla had a slow start in his last race ended up finishing a good 2nd that was a listed race so he's dropping back in class and stepping up in distance here. Also the improving Be Frank who caught my eye could be up there too only 4 races to his name, stepping up class for this one. The two who popped up on my systems were Quinault in top top form winning 5 races straight, with Connor Planas claiming 5 onboard again, at this weight I am going to have a go with him to get his 6 win in a row. Washington Heights been in good form 2,2,2 Only just getting beaten by a head lto at York by Quinault who was 10lb better off in the weights, they are a little closer for today race. The eye catcher for me is the booking of Mr moore. They are both drawn next to each other too, so will be interesting to see how they both run the race.

15:35 Newmarket - Remarquee 1pt win

Remarquee popped up on a system and I did have notes on her, after watching her last at run in the coronation stakes at Ascot. She was hampered around a furlong out, and still got back to finish 2nd a length back from the fav Tahiya. I do think with a clearer run she would of been a lot closer if not winning that race. With the obvious dangers in this race of Via Sistina, Nashwa and last years winner (and stablemate to Remarquee) Prosperous Voyage. I am going to take a chance on this lightly run 3yo getting her first group 1 race under her belt.

No cigar today. A good run by Nashwa to win it. Day - 1pt Overall +15.35
