Wow, not done a post on here for 6 years when I was testing some place only systems. Got a lot more time on my hands these days so thought I'd start and contribute a bit on here, as the forum as help my betting over the years I have been a member. Anyway on to my test using systems I have on my horseracebase. I select from the daily selections the best bets which come out after some extra criteria I have set for each runner. I cover all codes/types of racing so can run this all year round.

I will usually post in the morning but sometime like today may be in the afternoon.

My bets for today.

16:20 Windsor - Lawn Ranger
17:55 Kempton - Triple Trade

All result are to be recorded to BFSP
 
Just going to explain what I'm doing. So using the systems to come up with a list of daily qualifying contenders, I first use some ratings to narrow down the contenders. Then it's petty much me digging in to the race a little deeper, using my own judgement to why I think the horse as a good chance of winning.

This is just a small sample size from first 100 bets before I started this thread. Strike rate 33% Points profit 33.8 (-2% BF com) average odds 5.35. So lets see how this pans out.

While i do not use systems myself one of the best forum posts i read on the subject was from someone who was doing simular to yourself. :)

It was from long ago on a forum which folded, but the basics where that the punter used a few systems which had proven long term profitability and produced an avg 1-4 selections per day and he then dug deeper using his own judgement Re which if any should be backed. As i recall he did not prove the pudding via any pre race selections, but he sounded genuine to me and was not claiming big profits but only that his system for using systems was profitable............Well done your positive start above.

I thought it might be from awhile ago :) Yes that's pretty much similar to me. Well I hope I can prove the pudding over months with this tread :)
