simon boardman but it doesn't surprise me if winners tend to have the fastest final sectional or that an unlucky loser might also score well.
In the vast majority of cases the early pace will determine what happens at the finish, that barely needs saying but very often the true value behind worthwhile sectionals is when the numbers go against the grain, this is all after the event and doesn't always mean such values will be repeated.
If i have understood properly what we're being told ie "only consider sectionals where sectionals actually exist" or similar words didn't impress me, in my opinion all these sectionals need nuanse rather than just lumping them into a simplistic set of number crunshing.
