Industry tipsters next time out

Good luck greyabbey newcomer It can become very time consuming if you try to add too much. From the very small sample I put up it would seem that those finishing close i.e. 2nd - 5th had a good s/r nto, but only one winner so far in races after that. Although how that would all translate to the big picture I have no idea.

Samacas Samacas ,

Yes, the Scout was said to be pretty good by several in betting shops.
But, there was also an old joke going around:

A chap dies and goes to the Pearly Gates. When Saint Peter goes to interview him, he says " I'm afraid I've no chance. It's the fires for me".
St. Peter looked a bit perplexed and asked "why , what have you done?"

The fellow says " I was a scout".
"Oh, that's not a sin"

"Maybe not, but I was that old bggr in the Express".

Just A Deal wins at 2.93. I'm sorry, but I'm going to drop this. It might end up being profitable and if anybody wants to carry it on I'm happy to share the list of horses and notes I've built up, but to check 3 tipsters each day and make the notes etc etc for an idea I'm not really convinced by is proving too much of a ball ache...

Maybe rather than a system its something to note, depends too on whether it was simply a selection or a case was made. I backed Ferry Master EW yesterday at 20s on the strength of a case made for it for the Eider National, not the Scottish National. I cant remember who made the case. May have been PK or TS, but it struck a chord, and whilst its previous run looked disappointing, and was written up as such in the RP. The fact that it was run over 2.4 furlongs made the analysis nonsense. That's why it went off at too big a price. There is obviously merit in the horses you describe, but a system might be too crude a tool.
