HRB System Testing

Well I've been playing with the site for a bit and may be time to try out what I have found.

I'll use the spreadsheet from elsewhere on the forum to monitor the systems individually and log them in here. Think it is set up for win only, so I'll have to use that rather than E/W.

Tomorrow;

(1) - 2:30 Huntingdon - Vivacissimo 3/1 1pt
(6) - 5:10 Sedgefield - Card Game 7/2 1pt
(10) - 3:20 Navan - Flemenstorm 20/1 1pt

Typical start I imagine. The longshot provided a bit of promise with a decent run and a place, coming in to 8/1 too. Still going to let it run before deciding with systems will run E/W.

(1) - 2:30 Huntingdon - Vivacissimo 3/1 1pt PU
(6) - 5:10 Sedgefield - Card Game 7/2 1pt 3rd
(10) - 3:20 Navan - Flemenstorm 20/1 1pt 3rd

Win stakes = -3pts
E/W stakes = -1pt

I tweaked the spreadsheet. Added a column in for places paid and adjusted the place column to be less than or equal to the new column. Also removed the betfair 5%. I can reupload it if you want.

Are you using Sp, or BfSp ?. That spreadsheet is for use with BfSp.
If your going with Sp it would have to be adjusted to place terms (1/4 or 1/5 odds)
Not too sure what you mean about the extra column.
No need to reupload it

SP, so I've made the alterations and think it's okay now. I'm entering the place odds manually as i changes between 1/4 and 1/5.

the 14:30 & 17:10 races paid 3 places on Bf, just out of interest.
Forgot to say the win and place banks work seperately and the stakes will increase as the banks grow.

nedloh nedloh okay cheers, I can just overwrite the cell with 1 to keep it to level stakes.

With regard to betfair, I'm sure I've read elsewhere that there is little between betfair and BOG? When do you typically take your back odds from there?

@Holty10
when I'm trying out something on HRB I always use Sp.
When I'm paper trading I always use BfSp, its the handy way to record it.
If it shows promise and your going to use real money you can always look at BOG etc.

I am using SP to generate systems but expect to achieve BFSP in the results once I start testing.

Does anyone use GRUSS software or similar to load selections onto Betfair through a spreadsheet from HRB?
