Compiling Speed figures.

Possible the Doncaster times are suspect on Lincoln day, according to Simon Rowlands:

Some of those times on Saturday – namely for races 1, 3, 4 and 5 – were delayed due to an unspecified malfunction of the timing mechanism but appeared later as “official calculated times”.
My own checking, using video-editing software, suggested they may have been slightly out, but the BHA has since confirmed its protocols in this area, which are robust and along the same lines that time analysts have been using in recent years.

I am going to accept the official version, if with slight reservations, and it is good to see technology being used as it should be in these matters.
