CHELTENHAM 2026

Thought it was going to win for while diamatiste but second at 11/1 and only other horse i mentioned on sight was heathcliff won 5/1 so not bad for saturday.

Yeh good run from Diamatiste. After your post I doubled it E/W with De Temps En Temps 25/1, probably my 2nd best bet of the day, best was Ben Pauling, pretty naff otherwise.

I just watched a video with Nicky Henderson after another G1 for Jonbon, only Kauto Star with more now.

It does sound like they might swerve Cheltenham but he's not sure, he did say what I said, that he deserves a win at the festival, and if he does go it will definitely by the Ryanair, he won't go 2m at Cheltenham again, so if he does go, it's the Ryanair (which looks like it could be a good race even without Fact To File and Gaelic Warrior, or Jonbon).

Fridays flat race now looks a bit of a farce for Constitution Hill.

Sponsors set it up for him and he needs 4 to drop out to run.

The phone line will be busy.

if it was a class 6 handicap they would split it into 2 divisions, abject failure for racing if they run this race with Constitutional Hill balloted out, all that’s been talked about for weeks and they would sit back and allow it to not happen.
Im sure they can make 4 runners go away though.

it does also involve the handicaps and whether they are divided O Outlander .

If they are it means the CH race will be reduced from 14 to 12 runners, to ensure the have enough stabling.

Even the entry sheet. " For qualifiers please read from the bottom". :headbang: :headbang:

And just like magic Doomstar, the race at Southwell is up to 14, and Secret Squirrel is out, Constitution Hill now just need 1 to drop out.

I honestly believe it does not matter what he does on friday at southwell as the prove he is not the same horse was not the falls now it was the run at punchestown where he never finished race of at all which looks like hes just not the same horse, And i feel people are just dismissing hes 9 now .
My gut feeling is this might be his last race no doubting he was brilliant, but i think of him as a old man we cant be bothered lifting our feet up the kerb and trip and i think that's how his head feels he just cant be bothered.
People are looking for answers there is none to find retire him and let him do as he pleases.

Oh no, sounds like Skelton might be going for the Stayers for Nurse Susan, 7lb allowance, but not certain....

Grey Dawning taken out of Ryanair, will run in the Gold Cup.

Wow that was awesome from The Hill, impressive performance but also so good/nice/sweet for connections, so happy for Nicky Henderson and the The Hill, it was the best/most happiest I've been watching a horse race in my life, always had a soft spot for The Hill and had a bet on him.

I hope he doesn't run at Cheltenham now coz I'd have to back him but would be worried he'll fall.

Some of these top hurdlers could mix it at the top level , always thought that, the breeders cup turf winner of Mullins an example, Constitition Hill won one Champion Hurdle was a wasted career, too old now but could have been mixing it in the King George at Ascot as a 6-7yo. He is a brilliant racehorse, could have done so much more with him.

i will probably regret this or is W P Mullins horses running a little flat this year and P Townend is just not on it in his riding at the moment
to me the horses and jockey a making too many mistakes i know its Cheltenham coming up and they probably have loads of winners but to my eyes they are a little off to what we are use too if not i be booking my trip to specsavers soon

Anyone who fancies an ante post bet on the national ,might want to tune in today to the bobby joe chase 3.15 Fairyhouse.

Yes eeyore, bit naff atm Mullins, I took Fun Fun Fun 2/5 on yesterday with Blue Las 10/3 and won, he's not quite up to his usual standard.

if you look at how he's doing and what he usually does hes on schedule might be about 3% below his usual and your right he might just be showing a little less but also he could be just be being a little more careful for cheltneham aintree coming up.

People are getting a bit carried away ,he did not have to jump a hurdle and still a potential disaster for the sport in waiting for me.
