CHELTENHAM 2026

I know but he always targets Cheltenham and Punchestown. Apart from the GN ,he sends very few runners to Aintree even. Lots of prize money on offer even for placed horses.

Constitution Hill to school in midweek as connections ponder next move after Southwell win

The schooling session will tell us a lot. He has definitely changed in his technique. He (Yogi Breisner) has got him putting a stride in. We are putting them in the whole time and he has been really good. I’m there to advise, but Yogi knows all about these things as he is the expert at it.He has said to me the great thing he has is Nico, as he is one of the best horsemen he has ever worked with. He loves doing it with him as he is so good, and so is the horse. We would like to do that again and that will be in the later part of the week. He has been teaching Nico and it is minute details. it say to me they are going to Cheltenham

I hope they will not run him over Hurdles again. However if they were going to i agree with Paul Nicholls .They should have run him in the Kingwell last week ,a small field and less high profile race.

Personally i think its an ex champion hurdler so get it running in the race its proved its well in its self and it travels so well in its races the chance it doing anything harmful are low.
Or they should have made the decision with in two minutes of flat race finish as if it was really to do with the care of the horse then that was easy decision.
And henderson has run many horses on flat before mainly cesarewich so i find it really weird he had never tested it at home with any of them see how good it is on flat i love henderson but i honestly believe they missed massive chance there not less it was owner .

Owner Michael Buckley says the dream goal for Constitution Hill would be the Melbourne Cup at Flemington towards the end of 2026, with other Flat races under consideration en route to Australia, including the Sky Bet Ebor.Buckley admits that no decision has been made over Cheltenham just yet, but has sympathy for Henderson who is on record saying how he changes his mind on the subject almost daily.Buckley says that the trainer seriously doubts two and a half miles of the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot would be a realistic assignment, but two-mile targets have already been discussed.but Nicky doesn't think that he will stay that two and a half miles."Nicky wants to keep him on kinder ground, and there are Listed races in France as well that we could consider.

CH is 25/1 in both races with skybet and PP

Does William Hill know something we do not about Constitution Hill as they giving 8/11 for him to win a grade 1,2,3 on the flat
and 1/5 for him to not run in the Melbourne Cup at Flemington and 7/2 to run in it also 8/1 to win a grade 1 on the flat

Ripe for a Henderson classic, a Binocular style coup, tell everyone he’s going on the flat and wait for the desperates to go a 1000 on Betfair for the Champion Hurdle and announce he’s running.
Who knows and who cares , Unibet will know before any of us.

Nice 1, no Lulamba? I have a similar bet, or will have, not placed yet but I'll have the same but include Lulamba, The Hill if running, Jonbon, just in case further trip finally gets him his Cheltenham win, Iberico Lord Coral Cup, Doddiethegreat Mares, Impose Toi Stayers n Jeriko Du Reponet Kim Muir - I'll probably play trebles n fourfolds.

JP McManus

Could be his best festival squad, but had a good squad last few years and never seems to hit as many as he could, but does have a fair few good chances....

Narciso Has - not running now, taken out due to issue, probably now Fairyhouse.
Mighty Park - Supreme or Turners but sounds like Turners.
Jagwar - Ultima or Plate
The New Lion - Champion Hurdle
Kaid d'Authie - Brown Advisory
Iberico Lord - Coral Cup
Majborough - Queen Mother
Impose Toi - Stayers or Pertempts but sounds like Stayers.
Fact to File - Ryanair or Gold Cup, was definitely Gold Cup but sounding like they could go to Ryanair now.
Jeriko Du Reponet - Kim Muir
Dinoblue - Mares Chase
Inothewayutthinkin - Gold Cup
It's On The Line - Hunters Chase (love this horse, good stayer and always tries hard)

A few i think will shorten up , Apache Tribe in the Albert Bartlett , Feel Gut in the Triumph, and cons Rock ,the hunter chase.
