Big Odds Winners

The £1100 I was expecting back was from a £30 lucky 15 I placed at Labrokes (over the counter), but when I went to collect, with the previous stakes added and whatever bonus they give it was actually £1846 I got back, which was very nice, defo in my top 5 returns.

As mentioned, the other horse was Sopelana which I had @ 16/1 and got massively hampered after the last or could have won me £33k. I'm sure I will get lucky and hit a really big one some day.

Saturday is defo the best day to bet on horses.

I should probably leave it a few days now and not ride my luck, I often lose a chunk after winning but not this time.

Fair few flying in atm but not always easy to pick. I'm mostly playing mix bets, and a few bigger stakes win lucky 15's - I'm on a lucky streak at my local Ladbrokes with Lucky 15's atm, it's become my favourite bet - I found two today so a decent double and two singles, still hard to find 3/4+ at decent odds on one bet though, need some luck but will keep trying.

Saturday 02/05/26 - 2000's Guineas Day

I think today could be a good day for some big odds winners, at least decent odds if not huge.

If nothing else, should always go for a couple of combination tricasts in the 2000 Guineas, big races like that can often throw up a 1,2,3 with big odds.

I'll probably do a few and put Needle Match 18/1, Thesecretadversary 20/1, Alparslan 22/1, Padraig Dawn 50/1 and Lord Britain 125/1 in different combination tricasts, 4 horses fair few bets but just £0.10 or £0.20 can bring huge returns. I did it last year on the Epsom Derby, it was....

1st - Lambourn 13/2
2nd - Lazy Griff 50/1
3rd - Tennessee Stud 28/1

9,100/1 tricast.

Last years 2000 Guineas was.....

1st - Ruling Court 9/2
2nd - Field Of Gold 15/8
3rd - Shadow Of Light 6/1

So not as good as the Derby, but the big races can throw em up, all you need is the fav/top two in the market to run poorly and the top 3 will be big odds, and will make a monster tricast, if ya can get lucky and pick the right ones.

ALSO, go for certain races and your max return will be £1 million e.g.

NEWMARKET = ANY/ALL RACES (9)
DONCASTER = 17:50 + 18:27 (2)
GOODWOOD = ALL BUT 15:20 + 16:00 (6)
THIRSK = 14:10 + 14:40 + 15:55 + 16:25 (4)

21 Races in Total

If you only back horses in these races max return should be £1 million, add any other horse in any other races and the max return will be £100k.

Mostly a washout at Goodwood, but still trying to stick to just Saturdays and festivals, weekday racing is appalling atm, look at today's day racing, one race with 8 runners, average 5 runners, Monday is really bad, never bet on a Monday.

Saturday was good for me, finally had a decent profit after a few dud weeks. I had Tuco Salamanca 4/1, Asgard's Captain 13/2, Calender Girl 13/2, Norcross Brow 4/1, Eabha 15/2 and Wellbury 9/1 - I also had Shrimp Shady 9/4 but that was 2nd, I was going to put Dancing In Paris 17/2 in my bet instead of Shrimp Shady but went for the shorter odds horse, if I'd have put Dancing In Paris in I would have won over 100k, damn, closest I've been for a while, one day!
