Well said.:) Wiz you are still reinvesting from profits. This is a very big positive and achievement.Well done.

I would like to cut out some bets and losers with this. Am contemplating ignoring all bets at 9/2 or less or under 6.00 BSP, any thoughts on this? I can't find any common link between the winners, just think only backing at 5/1 or bigger would help. Will carry on as normal for now.

taff, I know a lot of shorties have lost and don't cover many losers when they win. If I have time I will run through all winning SP's and see but haven't got prices of all the losers.

Dont like staking plans or cutting winners out by price when a method is showing sutch promise one way of capturing better profits when a horse over 5/1 wins is to increase stake on bets ove your minimum price say < 9/2 1 point > 9/2 1.1/2 points just a thought mate

Hi Chesham yes thanks, the problem is more about the time it may take but I could try and do a bit here and there over a few weeks. I have loads on at present and time is precious but it's on my 'to do' list.

We can all advise you on a number of different ways to look at this but the answer lies within yourself.
Were you happy with the selection process when you first decided to run with it? We all go through a losing run, it's part and parcel of this business. I can understand you wanting to refine the selection process to give more winners etc but ride the storm out mate and then move on with it.
Good Luck.

I think I will end this particular trial there and if you had been using £5,000 stakes, a nice £10,000 profit would have been made in under 2 months. Not bad eh! :lolsign:

Gonna re group and will be back in the new year with a strategy based on the same principles but perhaps with a couple of new ideas and/or filters. Thanks for all comments and support, if I come across a decent priced bet I will come on and post it here.

Will be sorry to see the end of this.

To still be in profit after the amount of bets placed within that period shows how well you did.

Top bloke!
Take care mate.

Paul.

consider this if you will,at least 95% of punters lose long term, you are not in that group,Nice One Wiz :drinks:
