..... not a very convincing performance from a side who had won all ten previous home matches and were very strong on paper. The opposition managed to bridge defensive gaps until the 50th minute when the home side got the only goal of the game to win 1-0. ....... another of those disappointing results as this mixed run continues. The match finished 1-2 after the home side had opened the scoring in the 1st minute. The visitors replied with an equalizer in the 28th minute and what proved to be the winner in the 62nd minute. ..... another of those strange unexpected and unaccountable results. Santa Cruz had a record of P5 W0 D1 L4 F1 A9 and yet managed to win this match comfortably by 3-2. How they did it I have yet to discover, but definitely one in the eye for me for selecting them as a prospective loser. Just got to grin and bear this current run as times will get better shortly. ...... this Canadian encounter took a right swing in the early stages as the visitors were 2-0 up inside 34 minutes with the home side apparently on the ropes.
