...... picked a right heap here. Granted there was very few to choose from but turned out to be a poor pick. The home side looked decent on paper but could not produce the form from previous outings and lost easily 0-2. The visitors scored two early goals and it was all over bar the shouting after 18 minutes. One for the scrapheap methinks. So we lose £10.56 and the new total becomes £452.69. …… tough old game this one when the rank bottom Irish club gave the mid tablets a real scare. Took the home side by surprise and they had to fight all the way to register a 3-2 win courtesy of a late converted penalty. It all ended well for us as the whistle blew for time and we were on the right end of victory. ..... another of those matches where the opposition take the lead and look threatening at an early stage. Fortunately their lead only lasted 4 minutes as the home attack dug deep and equalized after 48 minutes. Nine minutes later the second goal arrived for the hosts which proved to be the winner and it all ended with our selection getting over the line 2-1. Slim but always acceptable. ..... two results to report. Sunday we won easily without any problems 3-0 with three second half goals to put icing on the cake. Monday not so good as the home side could only muster a 2-2- draw after leading 2-0 in the first half and conceded two second half goals and only draw. ....... looked as if this one was going down when I saw the opposition score first on the hour mark. However the home side upped a gear or two and were level 8 minutes later. Two more goals followed on 70 and 78 minutes and by then the hosts were well on their way to victory. It finished 3-1 and we all ended up happy.
