Wales ban greyhound racing

Just a matter of time T tacker.

I don't know now but you could go greyhound racing every night of the week in London.
The North East had loads of flapping tracks, all gone now.
Brough Park and Gosforth used to race on alternate nights. Gosforth dog track is now Asda.

Your choice was
Gosforth, Pelaw Grange, Stanley, Easington, Ashington, Wheatley Hills, Brough Park, Sunderland, Cleveland Park.

Sport in which animals die has a target on its back. Hare Coursing for instance despite the animal being vermin and wrecking crops and therefore livliehoods of farmers, still got banned.
Fox Hunting, if exercised correctly, does cull the Fox population. Most of these people haven't seen a chicken cree when a Fox gets amongst the hens.

Too many woke people in positions of power and they have don't have the ability to understand other viewpoints.
It is their way or the highway.

Racehorses die nearly every week with accidents at home. What they don't see is horses being retired on Non Racing Agreements, so the horse can start a new life elsewhere.
I am not a fan of Phil Kirby but Bushy Park retired this week and he made sure the horse will never race again in any format. There are far more good stories in racing, the woke brigade don't want to hear them.

Book your flights - if Reform ( and we don’t know what we might get ) don’t win the next elections , then I am really concerned about the way this country is going.

Sometime ago i was in disagreement with ARAZI regarding his mate Barry O'neil constantly calling out racing on the subect of racehorses being injured/dying because i feel the woke brigade didn't need further help in trying to get rid of the sport, O'neil has upped his game and is being noticed by the wrong people.
What he ne points to are the things mlmrob mlmrob highlights regarding animal welfare which is probably superior in horse racing that greyhound.

I'm beginning to feel this modern world isn't for me, anyway must get to work to help pay for the sticky mattresses brigade.

Ttier words were never spoken, mlmrob.

Almost every aspect of the British way of life is being destroyed by these wimps. Every day it’s something else. Nothing gets better.

Don’t want racing to finish, spent half my life watching it. But it is gauling if i put the racing on on a Saturday to watch 4 horse races and one of them seems to die every hour. Even as a racing fan you come away thinking was that product a good enough spectacle to warrant the risk to participants, most days I’m not sure. It happens too often.
Also I hate the whip, even if I accept if doesn’t hurt horses , why I hate it is as soon as the jockeys go for the whip they unbalance their horse and they start wandering about causing more problems than it is slated to solve.
I have seen more races lost from jockeys whipping than races won and the steering aid argument is a load of shite.
If you ever see a horse veering off the course heading towards a rail, there is not a jockey in the world that would pick up his whip to correct it, they know that they need both hands on the reins for self preservation. John Francome said the whip is useless and adds nothing to the game and I agree with him. As soon as you set a limit on something you are admitting it’s harmful, this you can hit them 8 times but not 9 times , apart from being ridiculous tells you all you need to know.

Continuing when your horse is exhausted or has no chance is another major issue, it looks terrible, if they like it or not , if it had any bearing or not, Envoi Allen had no business jumping the last 2 fences in the Gold Cup. This type of thing pisses me off and you see it every day.

Nobody hates woke culture more than me, this is just my honest take as a person who has watched 100s of thousands of races as a fan and a bettor. If this is what I see just imagine what the snowflakes see.

I mean scenes like this do the industry absolute no favours.

Go On Chez left Oliver Greenall in January 2025 having already qualified for the Cheltenham Foxhunters. His new connections run him at Cheltenham even though he had zero chance. He then run in two points finishing fourth of five and last of two. He hasn't been seen since. He must have had an issue as he hadn't run in a ptp and Friday was his first race since last May. Go On Chez is a horse that was best caught fresh as he was 4-6 under rules after 4 months or more off. That was when he was professionally trained.

Fred Hutsby, the horses trainer is a very unpleasant person. Below is a video of Fred in action in 2021. Horses should be no where near the man.

Mighty Moss was odds on to win a point at Ashorne in 2003. The horse was a 12yo. Hutsby thrashed a tired horse into submission to try and win. He should have been pulled up but Hutsby kept going for the horse to finish third. Mighty Moss was never seen again.
The horse was never the same after leaving David Nicholson/ Alan King. He didn't win for three years and those bastards, the Hutsby's, put him through hell rather than letting Mighty Moss enjoy his retirement.

Hmm , is reform capable of saving the country ? I have my doubts mainly because things have already gone too far, also if everybody that can seek to build a business and employ others are finding that it's hopeless and time to give in and leave then all is lost.
Sadly i suspect we're very close to that situation and fail to see how we get back to some kind of reality that we need to earn our own living as individuals and not always demand handouts.
We're doomed.

BBC news website, today.

With successive governments of both major parties (as they like to think of themselves) with two instincts - tax and ban - chickens coming home to roost.
