The Americans make everything sound incredible, horse comes from what looked about 7 lengths behind the runner up to win…wow that happens multiple times a day in racing all over the world without anyone getting excited. Everything is bigger and better and more amazing over there even when it’s not. I suppose this horse is now champion of the world , the only bonus its not another juiced up Baffert winner.

I suspect it will struggle to repeat ...

Was an "also eligible" only got into the race on Friday as another horse scratched out.

Was running in 30k claimer races not so long ago and on previous form showed little that would suggest a win at this level.

Will no doubt be back for the Preakness a couple of weeks from now. But in a more evenly run race I think will struggle to close like this.

Agree with what you are saying will probably be a fluke performance, I had a fiver on the Japanese horse but it was stuffed, they are dominating in Hong Kong and Dubai, I reckon it’s a matter of time before they start to plunder some of the big US races.
Just been reading about Mattress Mack, seems like he likes to put $2 million bet on the favourite every year , that would have been a hard on to take the jockey clearly went all in too soon , the horse seemed the best in the race and had a burst that lasted 100yds but then he was on fumes.
