tonights footie tip

hi and todays bets are man utd, 2 points win and lay charlton and yeovil for 1 point each.
good luck to all having a bet today.

taking a chance on spurs at evens to beat villa 3 points risky but just think the shock loss to west ham should give spurs the kick that they need,as despite some decent results villa are not playing well at home.

man city look to be value at 4/5 to beat newcastle tonight but this is a cup game so just 2 points win for me.
good luck to all having a bet tonight.

If this is not the place to post this then please let me know.

I am trying (sensibly) to recoup some money (and credibility) I've posted on another thread that I'm backing over 2.5 goals nufc v mcfc in the capital one cup.
Odds 1.70 and I've staked 500 to win 350.

Onwards and upwards!!!!

Traded out at half time with 265 loss. Ah well, just hope I made the correct decision
Apologies Tony for derailing your thread.

Ayatolla, I cannot for the life of me accept that trading out for a massive loss be a good decision, I understand it is damage limitation,it was never 'good' though.

Thank you bobajobba but I have to disagree. To have left the bet would have been silly and hopeful.
I made a bet, it was losing and I had a choice to make.
The outcome is I still lost but not as much which as you say is not good but could have been worse.

Regards

no worries ayatolla i also put man city vs nufc up as an over 1.5 goals on my other thread would not have seen a 0-0 between these two as a credible bet sorry you did your dough as for trading out for a loss i can see both sides ie cutting your liabilty and as gamblers the thrill of sticking it out to the bitter end as more goals are scored in the second half of cup games on average.in this case you saved a bit of your hard earned so you were correct.
any way i diverse my bet lost as the game finished 0-0 -2points
