Todays selection.

Yearling
Welcome to my own thread! A reformed lurker, thanks to the push by Chesum.

I still don't see myself in the same league as some of the expert opinions I see on here but I'm willing to give it a go.

Sturlasson 1.50 Goodwood.

I respect the chances of Seven Questions and Toyotomi, I see have been put up on another thread. At the prices though, I am happy to go with my selection.

Out of the York handicap won by Jakajaro, which has thrown up good winners. Including yesterday's dash winner Arklow Lad, who I see TheBluesBrother has given an extra 6lbs to his rating.

Currently 11/1 B365 (still 3 places)

Good on you billybob, the first post with a selection is always the hardest but once you start it can become quite addictive. Hope others watching follow your lead.

Good luck B billybob

That race is the only bet for me , but on the boring fav, mainly based on the draw .

Worth trying Sturlasson up in trip, but my concern would be getting the trip on soft ground.

I'm struggling to see how much pace there will be in the race, which will aid it's chances IMO

Sorted 8.39 Windsor.

Can't really see why the big price differential between the fav and Sorted?

The selection beat Buckland Belle comfortably enough the last time they met and running off the same weights today.

I hope the draw will turn out to be a positive one.

11/1 with 4 places on B365.

Hugh 3.48 Sals.

It finished 4th first time up. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th all won on their next outing.

Hugh could only finish 2nd on his next try but ran really well to be beaten by an odds-on shot.

Now with Tom Marquand taking over.

Currently 8.4 on Betfair.

Arry Up 7.10 K.

Arry up seemed to be a progressive horse, winning 3 times and running faster than Par Time in those races. It then ran at Ascot where it finished a well beaten last.

It had previously beaten Hallo Spaceboy in its penultimate run but was over 20 lengths behind that horse in its last race. When Hallo Spaceboy came second, with not a lot of difference in the weights.

It was drawn in stall 20 that day, right on the wing, and seemed to be traveling well and leading the field, until the jockey brought it under pressure, where it just wanted to hang.

Not sure what the problem was, but it did seem a lot better than that and trust Rod Millman has got to the bottom of it.

Currently 7/1 on Betfair.

Storm Point - 2.55 New.

After the 3 obligatory runs for a mark and then being gelded. SP came out this season and won first time up.

Horses finishing 2nd & 3rd, have since won.

Although Kieran Shoemark is riding well, the last time it ran he couldn't find the gaps.

Off the same mark today, I expect to to do a lot better.

Currently 4/1 with B365
