You could always post your selections in the tipster competition. Will help with your discipline and help keep records as you go. 2 important rules for successful betting. :handgestures-thumbup:

Will do ! I have started a trial on Tipster Academy as it has a really good bet recording tool!
It records strike rate, Yield, and has a graph to show progression and also a stats box with gives %s for each type of bet.
Plus if you get signed you get paid 1000 Euros a month do a Brucey Bonus!
Will enter on here, waiting for flat to settle for a while first.

Just an observation. The tipsters on the tipster academy website have achieved that through other sports betting tips not on horse race place betting. The icon to the left of the tipsters name indicates the sport they have chosen. Still quite impressive though. The one at the top is flying! :minigun:

I realise that, many are football and basket ball tipsters! But I feel that that in theory it could be done on the same lines.
Might see you on the leader board in the near future then! I think after 40 tips you show up on the board.
Still need more before I get on there!

I started posting place only bets @ BSP on the tipster academy website. 1 correct, 1 N/R so far. I noticed profile page had a green tick to indicate a winning selection, however the running total was showing a loss.

I emailed them; Stuart replied saying they are having a problem showing BSP results correctly! Bear it in mind if you do the same.

Thanks for the heads up but decided to knock that idea on the head and stick to win bets at the front end of the market.
The reason being having looked through my bets if I stuck to horses 7-1 or under my strike rate and yield was better.
The method I am using selects horses at this price range with a decent strike rate so this is what I will be doing.
When I get going I will post up my selections.

3.10 Wincanton: I feel Elinika offers a bit of value at 7-2, he has improved over his last 3 races since returning from a break.
His last race was decent upped in class and giving a stone in weight to the winner.

He races off the same mark today, many can be easily eliminated, Noabunga is the main threat.
