Stumbled upon something tonight that I want to look into a little more .. want to put this post up here to remind myself to take a closer look at it tomorrow .. could be something or nothing, lets run it for a few days and see where are ... will be able to back-check the idea over the weekend to see if it might have legs. Will probably need tweaking as we go along to filter down the number of qualifiers. But lets see where this rabbit hole takes us ...

This is an extremely basic method of getting selections .. just one rule to pick the daily qualifiers,
I'm sure we can improve on strike rate with a couple more filters, but we may not have to

I should be able to back check a few weeks worth of results here in the next day or two.

no wins today .. however I have started back-checking results and think I have been able to use a couple of very basic filters to narrow the number of selections and improve results ...
Sticking to UK, Flat, Handicap races seems to yield much better results ...
Am Back-checking by hand from 1 July to today .. so it may take me a day or two to go through them all .. but will post here as soon as I have done so.

Just one qualifier for Monday .. using the new filters from above ....

Haha, I guess i picked an opportune moment to start my back-checking, i'm not going to imagine for a minute that this is in any way "normal"

Week one - 29 bets - 9 winners and 26.56pts profit at SP

Without those two big priced winners ... we're looking at a 7 or 8 pt loss.

... makes me want to check week two though .....

.... wow - one extreme to another - week two from 8th - 14th Jul -30 pts - gave all of it back and a little more besides ...
Quite a few second places at decent prices ... could have swung it .. so week three will be interesting to see ...
