THE NFL SEASON 2017/18 STARTS ON THURS 6-SEP

NigelRG NigelRG just noticed that paddy power have a special ... If your team goes up by 14 points or more at any point in a game ... They call it a win and payout on the bet. Don't remember them being particularly generous with their odds though. I'll have to take a closer look.

Couple of good games later ..

Raiders game will be a good watch. I think (hope) they start to turn things back around again tonight ...

and the spread is 13pts .. so no room to squeeze that game ...

For monday the titans should win big.
I see a game won by at least two touchdowns .. but the spread is only 7-8pts ...
so we will squeeze that out to -11pts ... skybet are offering us 2.38 on the Titans -11pts

For NFL team v team point spread ... I figured out a while ago.
You don't have to be on the best team to win ... its easier bet against the worst team ;)

.. looks like I dodged a few tonight with the Bronco's, Chiefs and Raiders all dropping games. I'm already writing off my season long bets, with Rogers out for a while, I don't see the Packers getting anywhere anytime soon.
 
The biggest shock for me was seeing the Pats down 14 to the Jets. I don't think that the NFL is giving any clues as to which teams are worth following. as yet.

nothing stands out for the early games today .. couple of opportunities but the bookies seem to have the lines spot-on ... am looking into later games now ...
Had out of town family here this weekend, they have just left, so back to number crunching. :)
 
ok, just one bet for today :

$25 win - chargers -2pts @ 2.55

A few interesting matchups, this is the only game i feel the line may be wrong.
I like chargers to win outright. I have them about 5 point winners of this game .. so we can play a little to get the better odds. :)

they need to close this game out. Denver has not looked like scoring, but Chargers have certainly never looked like closing out the game either ... my finger is starting to twitch near the cash-out button. haha
