I'm drawing this thread to a close as as far as tjs is concerned it ultimately has been unsuccessful.

The value selections have broken even after 197 races which is a big enough sample. With a 20% strike rate and long losing runs I'd not recommend the value selections even to a fun punter.

The best 3 tjs makes a small loss of 17pts over 202 races. With a 50% strike rate it's not good enough to use as either an initial selection method or a crosscheck.

The surprise from this work is the best 3 current odds this shows an unexpected profit of 42pts after 202 races and has a 61% strike rate, with a mildly progressive staking plan the best races of the day could be an earner to those willing to use bigger stakes than me. The size of stake shouldn't be a problem with these favoured horses. Not a complete waste of time then.

Tjs has failed to be better than supportive evidence and I shall be dropping it from what I do.
