Hi Dick
I don't know if this will help but I tried a few Races out with Sad Kens Method on Flatstats, just to see how the method panned out.
This Example was Pre Race 16/02/13
The Class Ratings Are Nothing to do with Sad Ken but I put them in to see how they compared to Kens Form Horses
Using Sad Kens Method Alfred Hutchinson had 4 Stars as he had one star for a Career Best Top Speed LTO, One for The Highest Win %, One Star for Being in the Betting Forecast and one Star for Being in the Top 4 Adjusted RPR
Solar Deity had 3 stars, One for Best Consistency Figure, One star for Betting Forecast and one star for Top 4 RPR
All the listed horses had run a Top Speed Figure LTO compared to their 2nd LTO Top Speed
The Two Horses that go forward as Sad Ken Form Horses are Alfred Hutchinson and Solar Deity
Based on LTO Top Speed Figures Alfred Hutchinson came out Best and On Adjusted LTO Top Speed Figures Alfred Hutchinson Came out Best
Normally using Sad Kens Method you would say that Alfred Hutchinson Came out best and that is where I see the weakness in his Form Horse ranking, as to me Solar Deity has the Best Consistency Rating and the better Ability Rating
My Class ratings are exactly the same as Ark Royal publishes each day and Solar Deity Comes out Tops
You could Combine Sad Kens Method and cross reference with Robs Plus Form and Chesham Class Ratings
One thing to note Sad Ken does not seem to dip below Class 2 races and to be fair to his Method I would not try it out on anything below that.
Good Luck
Chesham
