I was looking at 8:30 race and really don't understand why Quinault is favourite (watch it win now lol), I know a few winners have come from his last race but he hasn't got anywhere close enough in his 3 runs so his opening mark of 59 doesn't look that lenient to me. Your one South Dakota Sioux was one of those on my shortlist, yet to win in 13 runs but the closest came was over this CD when beaten less than a length from 4 lbs higher. Other one I like in the race is Missing You, made the frame in a maiden and handicap off 3 lbs higher, think he could go close tonight. But as I am not having a bet, I hope yours wins.

Missing You was on the shortlist , as was Smasher , i wanted more than the bookies were offering for both tbh so went with SDS , who i think on the face of it has a decent chance , as you say yet to win and trainer form leaves alot to be desired , although hes had a few placers and hes the type of trainer that once one wins he'll probably get a whole slew of em to follow .. Quinault , on paper , looks decent enough and makes handicap debut but im with you in thinking cant see why hes favourite .. what this thread is all about really , listing the horses who qualify and then looking at their respective races to see if the faves are likely to be beaten hence some decent prices

So loss aint that bad at EP after four months , as i said i did this for two years+ and it showed a healthy profit overall but obviously had losing months , see what tomorrow and the future brings
