Scraping Utility for Those New to Scraping

I downloaded the SL srcapers on pages 4 and 5 but both produce the runtime error 2147024891 (80070005)
I'm using excel 2010
any ideas ?

This is an "Access denied" error, so at a guess I would say that the scraper is possibly trying to access a part of the site that requires a log in to view.

I should think that the Sporting life scraper is obsolete, the new site is a totally different format.

They have not worked for a long time D drmidnight all the sites i have looked at VBA wont scrape them any more

As far as I can see the last file posted to this thread was in 2013. Scrapers need to be maintained as websites are regularly updated. So I don't think you have missed anything it just doesn't work 8 years later
