My plan has been to provide three teams who I think will win, one being my banker.

I have been a little unlucky so far as one team has let me down. Lyon scored three at home yesterday and then conceded a 91st minute equaliser. Still early days and not really the best time of year for selections, as many teams have new players, coaches etc.

I was thinking along the lines of odds based selections, within a certain parameter. That may be useful but I don't want all selections being too skinny, I would need a lot of wins to keep afloat.

I may delve into what you suggest for next week. It is certainly something I will keep in mind, as a level return is certainly better than a small loss.

By the way if you or anyone want to put up a trixie you are more than welcome to jump onboard.

I like the idea of picking just 3 teams to win on your Trixie bet which allows you a bit of cover if one team lets you down. Once you try to pick 4 or 5 teams + it obviously becomes so much harder to win on. However if I was to try your trixie bet I would have to pick teams around evens as I believe you have to look for good value on your odds. That way if you get 2 correct you will at least make a small profit or break even. Anything less than that on the cover and you may as well just do the treble. But good luck
