Questions

This is an example of a trend race which I posted Pre race the night before the race.

Once You hve clicked on the Trend Button the past winners come up with ll the relevant data and you can then run the system builder against those past winners

HRB also has the ability to be able to check out the known run styles of the past winners

I have had to split the screen shots in two as they are too big, but it was in one post 5DB711BD-05D2-4A5B-A877-CDBA524DCB2B.jpeg2FC1416E-FE39-4826-9A55-C4A92F3B345A.jpeg

Thanks pete pete i have it sorted now
There are numerous HRB features and it can take awhile to understand what a feature cn do (i’m still finding things to explore) one feature that I use is Hot Races Extra

If you click this button and try the following setting

E001B502-2BED-442B-BDCA-2F35C45FDBE9.jpeg
This will reduce the number of races to examine for the day

I like to look for Hot Rces where todays runner is dropping in class and a few positive extras

This is a Pre Race example of how I use this feature

(there is one Hot race that will come up with tjis setting today, but the horse in question as not run since October and is short odds today )

Theses are the Doncaster Trends for Saturday

You can look at which races past winners came from (paths From Button) Profile the race (Profile Button) or hit the query button and research using hundreds of filters

The good news is that you can save Amy trends that you devise for futures Years and get qualifiers automatically

Chesham Chesham never really looked at trends but got interested looking at this post and in particular the Lincoln.
I don’t know how you would approach this tbh but the thing that stuck out to me were this subsection of well fancied winners

20 Auxerre

09 Expresso Star

All 4 years old what they would call sexy types in single figure betting odds from Newmarket yards with plenty of ammunition, also lightly raced 6 or less starts, all won at least twice and all managed to achieve a reasonably classy 97+ OR considering the lightly raced nature.
All been laid off through the winter with no recent run presumably connections happy with their ORs and wanted to preserve.
So if we determine this is a type that could have an edge my next question would be have their been many of these types run in The Lincoln and been beaten ? is this a profitable strategy? is this the kind of thing we should look for in trends?
Looks like Awaal would fit this type to perfection and Al Mubhir and they look to be favourite and second favourite.
If it did turn out the data indicated this was a profitable strategy could maybe in future years look at for this type of entrant and maybe get bigger odds ante-post.

The other way of using Trends is to see where contests may head next

If we take this weeks Doncaster Meeting. Two races stand out . The Lincoln amd The Spring Mile

Mow move to The Newbury Spring Cup and 11 past winners have race LTO in either the Lincoln or The Spring Mile

There are so many different angles when exploring HRB . Just to clear a few things up as one Forum member has in the past moaned that I am always banging on about HRB

I am just a subscriber and have no involvement Financially or Personally and I pay for my subscription the same as every other person. It was mlmrob mlmrob who suggested that I might like HRB as an alternative, as I was intending that I would cease subscribing to Flatstats for personal reasons. (Flatstats also has good features for Flat and AW only. Flatstats has some very good people on their forum too, although I’m no longer a member of that Forum, but you can learn some good angles on that Forum too.)

Yes i know you have no Affilition to HRB and i was taking note of HRB on some of the threads when i was other account Kralken and always amazed by your use of it esp your Chezs ratings Chesham Chesham
