To be honest I never see the stakes as £'s and pence, I purely see them as points, and am generally only risking only 1 of them per match.

I start the month with 100 points and reset the bank every month back to 100 points and stake accordingly.

I think if I were to see it as a monetary value then I'd go stir crazy.

Today there was a risk of 21 points.... Just over 20% of my bank. I can live with that. But if I were to think of the risk in £££'s it sort of bends your head --- Hence, why I only work in points.

If you were to ask me what my profit was today, I'd say +6.89 points, as for the monetary value of the profit I'd have to work it out because I'm not too sure.
I prefer working in points --- It keeps me more sane. :lolsign:

Absolutely.
I just mentioned £££'s as someone back in this thread questioned if 11 points per month was a 'good return' and I replied that if betting to £50/pts it certainly was...….but at the time there was probably only 4 or 5 bets a day.
Days like todays would certainly require nerves of steel....gulp....lol

I sometimes find it quite useful to see things as profit/loss... especially if lots of bets at various odds get placed over a period of time, as it gives a more visible indication of whether anything makes money or not.
