Jockeys to Follow

Sorry this specific tip is too late now, but it wasn't huge odds so not a big deal, anyway I noticed that Ned Fox had 7 rides, 3 wins, and was on Jikala for Venetia Williams @ 4/1 today, third favourite @ 14:15 Hereford and he came in, so he's now 8 rides 4 wins (50% strike rate).

I also like the following jockeys that are coming up.......

Billy Loughnane
Jack Tudor
Harry Kimber
MJM Sullivan

Anyone else follow any jockeys, young or old?

I would recommend Ollie Murphy and Sean Bowen combination at the moment, their on fire, the odds often aren't great though - but Bowen won on a 9/2 yesterday, and placed on a 33/1.

Ned Fox had another ride and won, Cyclop 9/2 on 25/03/23 @ Newbury, so 9 rides 5 wins. But then he lost on Monday, so 10 Rides 5 Wins, still a 50% strike rate, maybe he is one to follow.

Ah yes, good one, I was going to add him yesterday and he got two 2nd's and a win @ 9/2, usually rides for Miss S E Forster and Lucinda Russell, and has a 5lb claim left, for now anyway, it won't last long at that rate, just like Billy Loughnane on the flat, he took a break in America so he still had a claim for the derby, oaks etc., but apparently he's quite tall and might end up being a jump jockey.

Billy Loughnane - no rides
Ned Fox - on Oxygen today 4-1 3rd favourite @ 15:15 @ Taunton for Venetia Williams
Jack Tudor - on Fever Dream 9/1 @ 14:05 @ Taunton + Mr Tambourine Man 7/2 @ 15:50
Harry Kimber - on Sam's Amour 22/1 @ 14:05 @ Taunton + Guernsey 10/3 @ 15:50 + Stancheski 100/1 @ 17:00
MJM O'Sullivan - 6 horses @ Naas today (1st 6 races)
Patrick Wadge - on Ashjan today 4/1 2nd favourite @ 14:10 @ Hexham for Miss S E Forster

Ah damn, Ned Fox just won at 9/1 - 13:50 @ Hereford - I didn't spot him today, but that's 11 rides 6 wins since I've been following him - should probably start checking his booked rides.

Here's what was missed over the bank holiday weekend, Ned Fox had another win, but also lost and fell, so he's now 14 rides 7 wins since I've been watching him - 50% strike rate. M J M O'Sullivan hit a treble Sunday, plus 2 places. P W Wadge is smashing it too, but doesn't get that many rides.

Jack Tudor is now stable jockey for David Pipe, but I noticed he still picked up rides for Joe Tizzard and Christian Williams over the weekend, so he's going to be getting more rides, and is one of the top jump jockeys now, behind Harry Cobden, Sean Bowen and Paddy Brennan (in my opinion anyway, Brian Hughes only wins the championship through volume).

Could do with another novice or two on the flat, I think Jack Mitchell is a good jockey, but he's more experienced now, so probably Benoit De La Sayette, Marco Ghiani, Laura Pearson & Callum Hutchinson for the UK, and Dylan Brown McMonagle, Jamie Powell & Ben Coen for Ireland.

Ned Fox has a ride today, 1st race (13:15 @ Exeter) - Happy Company @ 12/1, decent record, worth a punt to get the day off to a good start.

EDIT: Happy Company was 2nd.

Ned Fox is about to go off - Wyenot 9/2 - 15:00 @ Southwell - sorry might be too late now.

EDIT: Decent run, 3rd (placed)

Ned Fox and Patrick Wadge are still doing quite well. Ben Coen and Dylan Brown McMonagle are doing well too. I think Ben Coen is now riding in the UK, he has a few good rides today, but still seems to ride in Ireland, and gets plenty in Dubai too.

New jockeys for the list........

  • Mark Winn
  • Harry Davies
  • Adam Farragher
  • Connor Planas
  • Bradley Harris
  • Caoilin Quinn
  • Freddie Gingell
  • Taylor Fisher
  • Jack Hogan
  • Mike Hassett
  • Conor Stone-Walsh

Ah damn, Mike Hassett just won on a 25/1, I didn't even see it, it's hard to keep track of all the booked rides, him and Conor Stone-Walsh are definitely ones to follow.
